The biologist and environmental activist Mário Moscatelli shows how his efforts to clean up Guanabara Bay are falling apart due to government mismanagement. He takes the viewer on a helicopter flight over the bay to show how bad the pollution problem really is.

The fisherman and activist Alexandre Anderson show that fishermen in Guanabara Bay are losing areas to industrial activities. He also exposes environmental crimes and talks about the threats and attacks he has faced since he started the Fisherman Environmental Patrol.

Klinton Senra, an environmental analyst, takes the viewer on a boat ride through the APA Guapimirim Reserve, the last preserved area of mangrove in Rio's Metropolitan Area. Klinton guides us through successful restoration projects and shows examples of living organisms thriving. In spite of the difficulties, he gives us some hope...
