A native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Thiago Da Costa is an award-winning producer based in Los Angeles.Involved in video production and photography since his mid-teens, he went on to attend New York University's Tisch School of the Arts' film program, where he was a Martin Scorsese Young Filmmakers Scholar and where he produced the short The Love Song of Henry Milk (2001) (as seen on the Sundance Channel) and directed Antes Da Partida (2001) (Antes da Partida), a narrative film based on some of his own experiences growing up in Brazil, that played in over 20 film festivals around the world and won him 6 awards including Best Emerging Artist from San Antonio's Cinefestival.Since 2001, Thiago has worked as a production and post-production professional in the US and in Brazil. For over a decade now, he has focused on the documentary and reality formats, working on projects broadcast on FOX, NETFLIX, A&E, France 24, VH1, FOX SPORTS, PBS, MTV Brazil, TV Norge, Germany's Pro7, VICE.COM and many other networks and outlets. Additionally, he has created branded documentaries for such big brands as Intel, AT&T, Samsung, Ubisoft, Dell Computer, EA Sports, Warner Brothers and others.He owns and operates Figura Media, a Los Angeles based production company that produces programming all over the US, and Brazil Production Services, a production services company that services international clients with film and video projects shooting in Brazil.He is an expert production team leader, a detail-oriented producer with a reputation for reliability, results and saving his clients money.
