Tish feels left out as the only one of her friends who doesn't have a crush on someone, so she decides to survey the men in her life in order to find the most appropriate recipient of her adoration.

Carver agrees to race a rival school's track star on account of his lucky shoes. But when the shoes go missing, he begins to worry that he's bound for a humiliating loss.

Tino is humiliated after he's seen crying during class.

Carver worries that his family likes Tino more than they like him.

The gang decides to volunteer as "pre-teen pals" to younger peers in need of guidance. But Carver's poor listening skills prevent him from being an effective mentor.

Carver and Lor spend their weekend procrastinating instead of working on an important school assignment, and Tino and Tish try to resist the urge to step in and finish their project for them.

Carver receives a series of anonymous love notes, but it quickly becomes clear that he's only interested in his secret admirer if she meets his beauty standards.

In order to be inducted into an exclusive secret club, Tino is required to perform a series of embarrassing acts, alienating himself from his real friends.

After Tino is the only one of his friends not to win "best" something in the school yearbook, he spends the weekend trying to earn a title.

Carver breaks Tino's new scooter, and promises to fix it in time for Bahia Bay's motorless parade. But when he forgets his promise, Tino becomes resentful.

The gang tries to downplay their plans for Father's Day so as not to upset Tino, who's dad lives far away. At first, Tino thinks he can handle it, but soon enough, he starts to doubt that.

The gang decides to leave their weekend plans in Lor's control, but the power quickly goes to her head.

After receiving the results of their career aptitude tests, Tino, Carver, Tish, and Lor begin to worry that their interests might not line up with what the type of job they'll end up with.

When Lor finds out that her new tutor is going to be her crush, she devises a plan to win him over.

After his mom mentions the possibility that she and Dixon might get married, Tino and his friends decide to put Dixon through a series of tests to see if he'd make a good stepdad.

Tino becomes bitter when his friends elect Carver to be their group's spokesperson for a "foods of the world" competition instead of him.

After receiving feedback on her report card suggesting that she not try so hard to be perfect, Tish must fight her need for perfection when the gang enters an art contest.
