Always on the grind, Kenya takes her "Life Twirls On" TV pilot to former actress-turned director Kim Fields seeking her advice. Cynthia struggles with the embarrassment following the viral video of Peter, and questions the state of their marriage. Shereè throws shade when Kenya questions the state of Chateau Shereè. Porsha introduces her new boyfriend to friends and family at a surprise party, but the real surprise is how hard she's fallen for him. Missing her close friendship with Phaedra, Kandi decides it's time to confront their issues, once and for all.

After their heated confrontation at Cynthia's eyewear launch party, Kenya attempts to reconcile with Shereè. Meanwhile, Peter disappears to Charlotte, while his marriage to Cynthia remains on the rocks. Phaedra and Kandi update their loved ones on their recent chat, but both have differing views on the state of their friendship. Kim Fields spends a rare night out on the town and meets the rest of the Atlanta ladies. Meanwhile, Kenya launches her Moore Hair Care line with a big, hot party that leaves everyone literally feeling the heat.

Kenya makes a surprise visit to Chateau Shereè and is astonished by what she uncovers. After Cynthia and Peter's emotional talk surrounding their relationship, Cynthia talks with Kandi about the uncertainty of her marriage. Meanwhile, Porsha and Duke hit a bump in the road. Sensing Cynthia needing a shoulder to lean on, Kenya suggests a day trip on a boat with the girls to take her mind off things. The ladies set sail for a tranquil afternoon booze cruise of fun and sun but things quickly take a turn for the worse when Cynthia and Porsha clash - shocking everyone on ...

Cynthia and Porsha's argument takes a turn for the worse and drama ensues on what was supposed to be a fun, girl's cruise. Back on land, the group is in discord as everyone's version of what happened causes conflict. Peter returns home to console Cynthia, forcing them to work on their marriage. Kandi visits the doctor and comes face-to-face with troubling news. Kenya and Porsha meet to discuss the altercation, but the conversation quickly turns into a reminder of their troubled past. The ladies come together in an attempt to unite the group and repair the splintered ...

An unlikely pair, Kenya and Porsha join forces to plan a girls trip to Miami as a "re-do" for the disaster that came out of their last outing. Porsha takes the fun getaway to the next level by renting a yacht for all the ladies to enjoy a day out on the water. Cynthia's friend, Tammy joins the group on the weekend getaway, but clashes with Shereé over drama from the past. Meanwhile, a homesick Kim finds it hard to adjust to this new group of feisty ladies, and sparks fly when Kenya is accused of stirring the rumor pot.

The ladies continue living La Vida Loca in Miami, but trouble arrives in paradise when a guest of the house takes the drama to new heights, causing tensions to rise. Porsha takes time away from the ladies for a steamy date with a hot new suitor. After the dust settles, two of the women decide to trek back to Atlanta, leaving a small crew behind to enjoy the Florida sun. Kim's apprehension about Kenya is pushed to the limits, forcing her to reconsider her decision about continuing this newfound friendship.

Porsha continues her long-distance romance with a beau she met in Miami. Kenya remains true to her plan to 'date like a man' and sets her eyes on a younger man. Peter surprises Cynthia with a 'first date' as the two continue on their path of reconciliation. A very pregnant Kandi struggles to wrap up loose business ends as she prepares to release new music with friend Demetria McKinney. Later, the ladies gather to celebrate the music collaboration and things get tense when Porsha and Phaedra are caught shading Kandi at her own event!

Kenya continues to build her dream home, only to discover her family relationships need construction too. Meanwhile, Porsha journeys to Los Angeles to cover an awards show; and Cynthia celebrates her eye-wear line with a customer-appreciation event, where Porsha and Kandi stir up the drama.

Kandi finally begins to slow down as Mama Joyce helps her prepare for her bundle of joy to arrive. Phaedra receives a surprise visit from Mama Joyce and is faced with an offer she can't refuse. Cynthia is whisked away by Peter on a romantic getaway to rekindle their relationship. Porsha has a tough conversation with her sister Lauren to discuss how her pregnancy is affecting their business. Phaedra and Todd work to settle their financial differences, while Kenya heads to Detroit to reunite with her family and hopefully reconnect with her mother.

Phaedra hosts a trip to the nation's capital to garner support for her Save Our Sons organization and invites a few of the ladies to tag along. During their visit to Congress, Kim once again finds herself on the outskirts of the festivities. Kenya's family drama continues after she returns from Detroit resulting in an argument with her Aunt Lori. Kandi and Todd work to convince her aunts to join in on their next business venture. Meanwhile, former besties Cynthia and Nene reunite over cocktails and plenty of laughs.

Kandi and Todd prepare for Baby Tucker's arrival with a refresher course in parenting, while Phaedra and Ayden get crafty to celebrate Apollo's birthday while he's away in prison. Kim plans an event for her new friends -- a make-up free "beatless brunch," but the ladies have some very strong opinions about Kim's idea of beauty. Cynthia begins planning for her eyewear commercial and things get tense when she decides to have Kim and Kenya pitch their ideas and work together. However, one of the ladies fails to deliver, bringing their friendship into question.

The ladies take over Jamaica with their men in tow for a little fun in the sun. Nene surprises the girls on the island and creates an immediate rift between Kenya and Cynthia's friendship. Meanwhile, back at home Kandi and Todd prepare for Baby Tucker's arrival. Kenya is devastated when Cynthia cuts her out of her plans for her eyewear commercial, and Kim gets heated when her directing credentials are questioned - revealing a very different side to her personality.

The "BFF" drama continues after Cynthia is confronted by Kenya regarding statements she made to the other ladies. Peter plays tour guide and takes the group on a personal adventure to meet his family in Jamaica. Meanwhile, Kenya and Matt stay behind at the resort for a bit of romance. NeNe plays peacemaker in an effort to convince Kenya to come hang with the ladies, all while things heat up between the men when Kenya's new beau Matt clashes with Peter. Meanwhile, back in Atlanta, Kandi and Todd struggle to convince a hesitant Aunt Bertha to take part in their family restaurant idea. Will they ever be able to get her on board with the rest of the gang? As the trip begins to 'wind down' in Jamaica, tensions hit a peak between Kim and Kenya, causing Cynthia to once again be caught in the middle.
