NeNe travels to Vegas where she joins the cast of "Zumanity", a cabaret-style show by Cirque Du Soleil. Phaedra and her husband Apollo prepare for the sentence day. Both Kenya and Porsha open up about the aftermath of the physical altercation which happened during the taping of the reunion show last season. Cynthia tries to juggle between her personal life and upcoming business adventures. Kandi and her husband Todd prepare for welcoming his daughter, Kaela, to live with them.

Mama Joyce is up to her old tricks again. It's opening night for NeNe in Vegas, and the nerves kick in. Cynthia celebrates her new-found sexiness with a fabulous party, purposely leaving some of the ladies off the guest list. While the party is in full swing, Apollo shows up and drops a bomb that leaves everyone in disbelief.

The show officially introduces the newest housewife, a radio personality Claudia Jordan, who happens to be Kenya's good friend. NeNe comes back to Atlanta from her show in Las Vegas and familiarizes with all the drama that have happened while she was away. Kandi gets in between Apollo and Phaedra's relationship as she decides to tell her the truth about Apollo and Kenya. Cynthia confronts Porsha over the comments she has made about her deteriorating friendship with Nene.

Todd makes himself a little too comfortable at the Kandi Factory when he starts reprimanding the staff-- forcing Kandi to choose sides between her husband and her team. Phaedra continues to deal with the aftermath of Apollo's fateful decisions, while he downloads to Peter intimate relationship details from their past. Just as Claudia is starting to adjust to life in Atlanta, she finds herself catching some unwarranted shade from a familiar coworker. Now that Apollo has come clean, Kenya is optimistic about mending her relationships with the other women until Nene ...

Claudia gets settled into her new life in Atlanta with Kenya's help. Kandi organizes a dinner so they can all hash out their differences but Phaedra and Kenya get into it yet again when it comes to Apollo's infamous lies. Nene and Cynthia come face to face for the first time in months, which leads to a rollercoaster of emotions.

Cynthia and Nene continue to struggle to make amends. Phaedra keeps her mind off of Apollo's drama by delving into work. Meanwhile, it's New York Fashion Week and Cynthia makes her comeback on the runway. Kandi also journeys to the Big Apple to visit Todd's mother, Sharon.

Back in Atlanta after a trip down the memory runway, Cynthia dives right back into work and is eager to begin collaborating with Demetria McKinney, an actress/singer who's ready to take her music career to the next level. NeNe arrives in Tampa, FL ready to go live on the air for the debut of her clothing collection. Meanwhile, Kenya meets with prominent producer Roger Bobb and discovers a surprising revelation. Kandi gets the cold shoulder from Mama Joyce while attending the family BBQ and Phaedra gets some advice on how to tell her boys about Apollo's impending jail ...

Kandi and Todd try to build up more peaceful relations between the members of their blending family. Kenya starts looking for new office space to help with the launch of her new ambitious business plans. Claudia welcomes her mother and grandmother who come to visit her in Atlanta to have some fun. NeNe invites both Cynthia and Kenya to sit down with her and Porsha and get all the things straight between them. Phaedra starts preparing to start a new life as a single parent.

Cynthia and Peter scout a potential new location for Bar One and begin their journey of doing business together. Phaedra continues moving on with her life both professionally and personally while she and Apollo are still living under the same roof. Meanwhile, Kandi decides to host a sex and relationship party for all the ladies, bringing together NeNe and Claudia for the first time under chilly conditions. Later, the night takes a turn for the worst, when one of the ladies finds out that her significant other hasn't been as faithful as she hoped

The ladies venture to Puerto Rico. The drama between NeNe and Claudia continues as their conversation gets heated leaving both of them in a battle of words.

NeNe and Claudia come to a conclusion of their disagreement at the dinner table, and the ladies are left completely divided in its wake. Kandi hosts a beach party hoping that it would bring all the ladies back together.

Kandi and Todd are looking to start a family, while Claudia may have a connection with Porsha's ex.

Kandi struggles to pick up the pieces after she learns news about "A Mother's Love." Kenya is feeling optimistic about diving back into her producing/acting career. Claudia and Porsha air out their issues at a Rickey Smiley work event. Apollo's date to report to prison draws near.

Apollo shares shocking news to Phaedra the night before he's scheduled to report to prison. Meanwhile, Kandi worries about problems in her relationship; Porsha's attitude at work frustrates Claudia; Kenya begins casting her TV show.

With Apollo now in prison, Phaedra returns home and begins adjusting to life without her husband. Todd is caught off guard when Kandi mentions going to marriage counseling. Cynthia and Kenya confront Phaedra about illicit texts on her phone and an alleged affair with the mysterious "Mr. Chocolate."

Kandi and Todd confront their issues in marriage counseling. NeNe proposes a surprising solution to try to heal the broken relationships. Kandi is blindsided when told that an unexpected rift might be forming with one of her closest friends.

Claudia decides to pursue standup comedy. Phaedra breaks down to NeNe about her declining relationship with Kandi, leading Kandi to pay her an emotional visit in hopes of deciphering what went wrong. NeNe gets the ladies together for an evening of therapy with Dr. Jeff.

Dr. Jeff leads the women to a breakthrough. NeNe struggles with studying for her Broadway debut. Kenya's cast reads her script for the first time. Phaedra meets with an attorney to figure out next steps in her life. Claudia decides to continue ushering the girls towards better friendships.

The women travel to the Philippines. Everyone is in attendance except Nene who has chosen to work on her upcoming role for Broadway. Phaedra opens up to Claudia. For once, there seems to be peace and positivity throughout the group...that is, until dinner time.

In New York, NeNe has a costume fitting for her Broadway debut. In the Philippines, the ladies are reminded of the fun they have together. To everyone's surprise, Phaedra and Kenya come together in a discussion that changes the dynamics of the group.

The ladies return to Atlanta from the Philippines and immediately get back to work. Kenya is in the midst of shooting her pilot, Life Twirls On, as Cynthia strives to perfect her accent for the role as a Jamaican salon owner. Meanwhile, Kandi and Todd attempt to go on a romantic date, but Todd drops a bomb that leaves Kandi torn. Phaedra continues to feel the rippling effect of Apollo's absence and is inspired to throw a charity event. Things take a turn when NeNe makes a cameo from New York and exchanges words with Claudia.

Kandi makes a surprise announcement that startles not only her daughter, Riley, but Mama Joyce as well. As Peter and Cynthia say goodbye to Bar One, they receive a shocking phone call from Apollo in prison. Nene rushes through final preparations for her debut in Cinderella on Broadway, and Kenya invites everyone to a screening event of her new pilot "Life Twirls On."
