Paul introduces a change for his fifth series: rather than a "jury" to watch his tricks, he'll now be surrounded by an audience, who will be able to see his magic from all sides.

Featuring strong woman Miss Atlas and Swiss ventriloquist Fred Roby.

Shari Lewis returns to the show, with Lamb Chop helping out Paul with a trick. New to the programme is Borra, the world's greatest pickpocket.

Paul has a great idea to get round being unable to reveal how tricks are performed - he gets a guest to explain the tricks for him. Unfortunately for Paul, he's chosen Professor Stanley Unwin for the task.

The show takes a darker turn as Paul performs a trick with a hint of the occult, and the appearance of black magic.

Featuring trampolinist Duban Nickol and a test of the psychic abilities of Lev Schneider.

Norris McWhirter is on hand to see if Paul can do some record-breaking tricks, while there's also appearances from Norwegian magician Finn Jon, the sphere moving of Michael Moschen, and the flea circus of Hans Mathes.

With the extraordinary cycling stunts of The Klementis and the offbeat magic comedy of Alfredo. Also featuring a special guest appearance by Rowland Emett, and there's a nasty surprise in store for Paul.

A Boxing Day festive special, with Paul opening an enormous Christmas Pudding, and giving viewers another look at the magic kettle. Guests on the show include Professor Al Carthy and The Pendragons.
