In the first episode of a new series, Jonathan is joined by beauty expert Riquette, actress-director Penny Marshall, and writer and raconteur Quentin Crisp. There is also music and chat from Phil Collins, who talks about his leading role in the new big-screen crime caper Buster (1988).

In a special episode, Jonathan hosts the show from the home of the lucky Elliot family near Blackpool where he welcomes guests La Toya Jackson, actor Chris Quentin, Norman Johnson whose speciality is he can slice a cucumber in 13 seconds, and musician Nick Heyward (who is convinced to shave off his moustache live on air). Plus Dr. Marin Scrote looks at fire safety in the kitchen.

Jonathan's guests include the multi-talented Terry Jones and adult artiste Ilona Staller (who appears under her pseudonym "Cicciolina"). There's also music from Brenda Russell and a set from the variety act Delores and the Snake.

Jonathan's guests include performance artist Leigh Bowery, journalist Ian Hislop, grower of large vegetables Bernard Laverty, broadcaster Melvyn Bragg, and music from Julian Cope. Plus Rick Astley appears in a special training video.

Jonathan welcomes actor Timothy Spall, singer-songwriter Robert Palmer (to whom he presents a special gift), surrealist Eileen Agar and model turned actress Jerry Hall to the show. Plus more words of wisdom from Mrs. Tina Bishop.

Jonathan welcomes Tom Jones back on the show for a chat. He also talks to athlete turned body-builder Donna Hartley and writer Frank Clarke. Plus music from Clive Griffin.

Jonathan welcomes wrestler Johnny Legend, architect Ian Pollard and actress/comedian Sandra Bernhard to the show. There's also music from Graham Parker plus Dr Martin Scrote is on hand to give guests and regulars a check-up.

Jonathan is joined tonight by comedian Norman Lovett, anthropologist and self-described voyeur Ted Polhemus, Chris Eraclides, owner of Zorba, the world's heaviest dog (who is also present), and actress/singer Pia Zadora. Mica Paris and Will Downing also appear to perform their cover of Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway's "Where is the Love?".

Guests include actress Amanda Donohoe, who drops in to promote her current film The Lair of the White Worm (1988); paper mask artist Christos Kondeatis; director Terry Gilliam, who talks about his forthcoming film The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988); and Jane Wiedlin, who provides the music. Plus Dr. Martin Scrote helps Tina Bishop promote her book "Exercises for Pregnant Women".

Jonathan welcomes former The Skids member, turned TV presenter Richard Jobson and comedian turned filmmaker Mel Smith to the show. Nicholas Parsons also drops by, plus there's music from Tiffany.

Jonathan's guests include musician Jools Holland, Japanese musical duo Frank Chickens, and jazz singer and raconteur George Melly. The two oldest acrobats in the UK, Renaldi and Karina, perform a set and there is music from The Gipsy Kings.

This special episode comes live from the London Palladium and features special guests Lily Savage, Huey Lewis, Harry Dean Stanton, Robbie Coltrane and Dave Stewart. Plus Dr. Martin Scrote dresses up as a pantomime Dame while Tina Bishop is disappointed that Joan Collins won't be appearing on the show.

Jonathan welcomes William G. Stewart and Keith Allen to the show, he also interviews a tarot reader and gets a special delivery from Postman Pat. Plus music from Jill Jones.

This week Jonathan's guests include actress Lysette Anthony, who discusses her decision to pose nude for Playboy magazine, new wave impresario Malcolm McLaren makes a return visit to the show, and there is music from Roland Gift. Plus Keith Allen gets to finish his interview from last week, we meet world famous celebrity-sketching artist Leslie Cooper, and Mrs. Tina Bishop gets to switch on the Wandsworth Christmas lights, though modestly admits she was not the first person chosen for the task.

In the final episode, Jonathan welcomes the American singing trio the Del Rubio Triplets to the show to chat and perform a seasonal number, Paul Merton and Peter Cook make return visits, while Dr. Martin Scrote dresses as Santa and Nick Lowe performs "Half A Boy Half A Man".
