The Last Resort with Jonathan Ross

Jonathan is joined by 'The High Priestess of Hip' Tama Janowitz, Hollywood actor Jon Cryer, and kebab shop owner Adamos Athanassiou, who was the real-life basis for Harry Enfield's 'Stavros' character. The musical guest is Rick Astley, who performs the Temptations classic "Ain't Too Proud To Beg".

This week Jonathan is joined by writer John Byrne, contortionist Snake Woman, Hazel Jones who produces baby clothes for grown men, stand-up comedian and actor Gilbert Gottfried, and Frankie Howerd appears as Julius Caesar in some educational 'archive' footage. Plus there is music from Mica Paris, who performs her take on "God Bless the Child."

Channel 4 have scheduled a weekly repeat for The Last Resort; the problem is it's at nine o'clock on a Saturday morning which means the show has had to become 'toddler friendly'. So Jonathan is now joined by Floella Benjamin as co-host; the special guest is Rolf Harris, who demonstrates his didgeridoo, wobble board, and painting skills; and the stars of Rainbow (1972) have joined the team. Despite this, there is still room for music from Nanci Griffith and a chat with cult filmmaker John Waters.

Jonathan's guests are Beatrice Lydecker, who talks about communicating with animals through extra-sensory perception; Steve Murray, who performs comedy magic with teddy bears; Irish star of stage and screen Gabriel Byrne; and pop music icon Elton John, who not only performs but chats about football and fashion.

Jonathan's guests include horror author Shaun Hutson, bouncy Italian pop sensation Sabrina, and one of the UK's most successful imports, comedy star Tracey Ullman. There's also music from Danny Wilson.

Jonathan is joined by actor/director Robert Townsend, who is in to chat about his film Hollywood Shuffle (1987) and his participation in tomorrow's Nelson Mandela 70th Birthday Tribute (1988); singer-songwriter Lyle Lovett who performs; novelist Marin Amis, whom Jonathan introduces with a passage from his new book; and actor Harry Dean Stanton, who closes the show with a performance of 'Wooly Bully' with Townsend and Lovett singing backup. Jonathan also welcomes each of his guests to join in this week's special darts challenge.

Guests this week are author Molly Parkin, actor/director/playwright Steven Berkoff and actor/martial artist Dolph Lundgren. There's music from Meli'sa Morgan and more helpful advice from Dr. Martin Scrote.

Jonathan welcomes comedian Julian Clary and filmmaker Michael Winner to the show. There is also live music from k.d. lang.

Jonathan's guests include Kim Wilde, who comes straight from supporting Michael Jackson at Wembley Stadium as part of his "Bad" tour. Meanwhile, Dr. Martin Scrote reports on the tour itself.

David Frost is on hand to help open The Last Resort Village Fete to which Jonathan welcomes Hollywood actors Helen Slater and Judge Reinhold; gardening expert Silas Proudharvest, who is caught nailing his plums down for the winter; and back to offer more invaluable medical advice, Dr. Martin Scrote. Plus Fairground Attraction perform "Walking After Midnight".
