India's national table tennis champion Shiraz Malik is shot in broad daylight. The news sends shock waves throughout the country, especially in political circles. The CBI is asked to step in, with Vidur Mehra leading the investigation.

Vidur and his team arrive in the city to begin their investigation. They summon eye witnesses and manage to trace the murder vehicle. The first suspect in the Shiraz Malik murder case is arrested.

Vidur meets political heavyweight Ranvir Pratap Singh and the CBI manages to get hold of all the 3 suspects while continuing its search for the mastermind. However, the case is not what it appears to be.

In a daring move, amidst wide-scale protests, the CBI arrests Ranvir Pratap Singh for commissioning the murder of Shiraz Malik. If this is not shocking enough, another unexpected name pops up in the case.

The chargesheet is filed in court, and Aabha Abhyankar is appointed to represent the CBI. Laxman Chotrani, the defense lawyer, is confident it is an open and shut case. However, all hell breaks loose when a diary is presented in court.

Gayatri's testimony reveals the truth about Antara's affair. The defense questions the lack of evidence and alleges political vendetta, when unexpectedly, someone close to Ranvir Pratap Singh requests for a meeting with the CBI.

Chitrangadha Singh, Ranvir's wife, is called as a witness. Her statement could help the CBI nail Ranvir. Which way will she lean? Meanwhile, Vidur manages to get a state approver, who can turn the whole case upside down, on the case.

The day of reckoning is here. Will Shiraz Malik get justice? Was it a crime of passion, a cold-blooded murder, or a political conspiracy? It's up to the court to decide and pronounce its verdict upon hearing the closing statements.
