A racing promoter wants to turn Relic into the Evel Knievel of boat racing.

Police and the nearby ministry restrict Nick's want to give a left companion a Norse memorial service he guaranteed him.

Nick fights to spare a former sweetheart's life after she falls because of a heart assault in a remote region.

Relic hosts a duel between a Pole and a Greek.

Jesse, joined by Nick, goes on an otherworldly voyage into the mountains however the trek turns out to be more hazardous than either arranged.

Hugh sets out on a performance chasing trip however his life is endangered by an unpracticed seeker in a similar territory.

Bad luck. The boat of Hugh, Sara and Margaret has machine damage. What should you do now? They wander around and get into an eerie house in which it is supposed to haunt. That's what young Luke says. But the three shipwrecked are brave - they want to stay in the "ghost house".

The Greek Nick Adonidas has gone to Gibson's Landing, an insignificant harbor town. He owns a small ship and holds a license to rescue Strandgut. Nick lives with Molly, who raises her grandchildren Hugh and Margaret. Everyone helps Nick with his hard work. But that's now in jeopardy: Nick's license is invalidated by the ministry.

Jesse's little band enrolls Nick to paddle in a war kayak that has experienced more promising times.

Independently of each other, both Colonel Spranklin and Relic and McLoskey believe they have spotted a sea serpent. While one is interested in the animal only scientifically interested and would like to take pictures, the other two promise of a catch - or a killing - of the monster a fat reward.

Once again, logs have to be removed. A friend has put a flea in the ear of Jesse, and he wants this time - against Nick's advice - use it dynamite. The explosive effect is huge, Jesse is trapped by a trunk.
