Therese is pressured by the new school to provide a birth certificate for Adri. This leads to an unfolding of events as Xander informs Adri that she might not be Therese's legitimate child.

Therese cannot prove that she adopted Adri and is arrested. Adri blames Xander for everything. Adri's blood family is tracked down and she agrees to meet her uncle Daniel and his wife Joey.

Adri is informed that she is the owner of Steynhof. Uncertainty about shares in the farm, stirs an unrest amongst the workers. Liena sees herself in the news and struggles to hide her secret.

Liena is forced to admit to Jason she is the kidnapper. Simon is told Adri wants to sell the farm. Adri finds her mother's old Blackberry and calls Xander. Therese finally tracks down Liena.

Therese arrives at Liena's house and wants her to reveal the truth to Adri. The workers decide its best to get rid of Adri. Adri goes to meet Xander's courier to drop the phone. Danger lurks.

Liena reveals to Adri that Daniel killed her parents. Simon, Daniel and Joey realises Liena got hold of Adri. Adri hides from Daniel, fearing for her life. Xander realises that Adri is in danger.

Adri escapes from Daniel. Joey informs Adri that Daniel has lost his mind and is out to kill her now that she knows the truth. Both women escape. Joey calls Simon pretending it's the police.

Xander arrives with the information on the Blackberry revealing the big secret. Joey flees the scene. Adri and Therese reunites. Daniel gives her a real birth certificate as a birthday present.
