Professor Keenbean's growth formula comes in contact with an ape in Africa, and attacks Richville.

While swimming in the ocean, Gloria stubs her toe against an oyster that has a giant black pearl, and Richie finds a good use for it.

Uncle Alfalfy invites Richie to prepare for a hoedown at his cottage, but is unable to come over right away, so he sends Cadbury over, where he is assigned to clean up the residence.

Richie tries to solve a mystery of the missing jade Maltese Monkey statuette, which is claimed by one of the suspects to be up for auction because the museum needs the money.
