George wants to blow Zippy's trumpet but Geoffrey has to show him how. The gang also has fun blowing bubbles, building a sandcastle in the garden and blowing paint onto paper through straws. Later on they act out the story of the three little pigs.

Geoffrey teaches George, Zippy and Bungle all about magnets. Then he has some bad luck eating lunch. Freddy arrives to tell all about the day he went to the Isle of Wight with Rod and Jane.

Bungle's best friend Horace comes to stay the night, but nobody else in the Rainbow house is able to see Horace at all.

Bungle, Zippy & George play a puzzling game with cards, musical chairs and Pin the Tail on the Donkey. John Styles reads a story about a picnic and Rod, Jane & Freddy perform a a magical song about a missing piece of jigsaw.

George and Zippy are unable to sleep because of Bungle snoring, the telephone ringing and the television being on too loud.

To enter a fancy dress competition, George is making a doctor's stethoscope, Bungle is making a crown and Zippy decides to dress as a cook. Bungle becomes fed up with having to listen to Geoffrey all the time and dreams he is the king of Bungleland, where he makes all the rules.

The Rainbow gang is having a concert in the backyard. Zippy is being a big show-off and tries to upstage Bungle and Geoffrey as they do a little dance, George when he performs a nursery rhyme and even his singing cousin Zippo.

Geoffrey explains all about teeth when Bungle loses one of his milk-teeth and Zippy eats too many sweets.

A large and heavy box arrives for Rod. Zippy, George and Bungle are very curious what could be inside. Geoffrey decides to play several guessing games with help from Ben Benison.

The Rainbow gang are planning a picnic but when the weather looks uncertain, they can't decide whether to go or not.

The Rainbow storybook has gone missing, but Det Insp Zippy is on the case, taking everyones fingerprints and searching for clues.

Bungle finds a bird's nest, a hedgehog and Zippy's old ball while looking around the garden. But Zippy would rather explore a jungle, so they get out the dressing up box and pretend.

The Rainbow gang go on a picnic in the countryside. Everyone sings The Picnic Song then they go exploring. Bungle finds the way for home by finding Jane's handkerchief she had dropped

George, Zippy and Bungle have a hard time coming up with something to buy for Geoffrey's birthday. When they finally get him a blue tie with white spots, to their dismay they find out Geoffrey already owns one just like it.

The Rainbow gang is going on a mystery tour by coach tomorrow, and as preparation they pretend to take a trip in some cardboard boxes in the yard.

The heating's gone out and Geoffrey is off to fetch a repairman. But Bungle, Zippy & George are freezing inside and call Rod, Jane & Freddy for help.

Geoffrey is looking for the shampoo and towel. George has lost his toy dog, Zippy is looking for Rod, Jane and Freddy and Bungle is searching for a 10p coin. Meanwhile, Kim Goody is on a special journey using several modes of transport.

Zippy has got two mice: Milly and Monty. But when Monty escapes, he and Bungle try to cover it up, even when Geoffrey finds his cookies and sweaters have been nibbled on.

The Rainbow gang is having a sports day in the garden. It's the blue team of Bungle, George and Jane vs the red team consisting of Zippy, Rod and Freddy.

Bungle, Zippy and George are being very inquisitive concerning everything from the effect of air on other objects to why the sun goes down at night.

Geoffrey explains about African culture, people and traditions. Then they all have an African meal.

Geoffrey is learning Italian by listening to a cassette. He also cooks Italian food (spaghetti) and looks at pictures of Italy.

The Rainbow gang is listing all of their favourite things. One of Zippy's is to stay in bed. Bungle likes being busy, but his most favourite thing is daydreaming. George loves to watch lines and shapes on TV and they all enjoy watching Rod, Jane & Freddy sing a song and a Dolly Doodle story.

Geoffrey is putting a table together in the shed, which wakes up Bungle who wants to spend the day in bed. Zippy and George ask Freddy to read them a story as Geoffrey's too busy. Afterwards, Rod, Jane and Freddy help building the table.

George and Zippy are having fun with mirrors. When Bungle pretends to be driving a car, the others have to hold up the car mirrors. Then they all go to a funny place filled with trick mirrors.

The Rainbow gang learns about Indian culture and food. Sneh Gupta reads a story.

Bungle Bear is pretending to be a horse and Geoffrey gets out his old rocking horse.

The Rainbow team prepare for their 1000th Birthday Party. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "We're Going To A Party".

The Rainbow team celebrate their 1000th episode by throwing a very special party. Guests include Matthew Corbett and Sooty, Christopher Lillicrap and the Mel Harvey the magician. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "Happy Birthday Rainbow".

Geoffrey introduces the boys to Chinese food.

Geoffrey is expecting his sister to visit, but George is certain she won't be there until the next day. The gang then recounts some other times when Geoffrey was wrong.

Zippy wants to play Snakes and Ladders, while George prefers Happy Families. Later Geoffrey, Rod and Freddy intend to watch a football match while Jane wants to see a cookery programme. Lynda Baron comes over to read a story.

Bungle and George get into a squabble over using the table to play. They both go into the garden where they meet their new neighbour Georgette. But the addition of a girl to their group upsets Zippy.
