Bungle is selling flags to raise some money for himself. Geoffrey has to pay the bills, so he goes to the bank.

Zippy & George are pretending to be a King and Queen from the nursery rhyme 'Sing a Song of Sixpence'. Bungle takes all their money (bottle tops) to raise money for a guide dog. He's also saving silver paper for the charity, but Geoffrey doesn't like it when George takes the brand new silver cooking paper from the kitchen.

Different types of books are explored. Bungle, George and Zippy fill a scrapbook, Geoffrey writes in his address book and looks up a phone number in a telephone directory. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing a song about pop-up books.

Geoffrey asks George, Bungle and Zippy to sort our their old toys for a jumble sale in the garden. But Zippy wants to keep all his stuff and get more toys for himself. Meanwhile Bungle mistakenly sells Geoffrey's best jacket to Rod.

Learn about caterpillars and how they become butterflies. John stops by and performs some shadow puppets.

The Rainbow gang is going camping, but first they have a lot of preparations to do. As usual, George is a bit worried and Bungle keeps bungling while packing things.

Zippy, George and Bungle waste their lunch by not eating it

Geoffrey takes a trip on a narrow boat with Rod, Jane and Freddy. Bungle makes a pretend narrow boat out of cardboard boxes.

Geoffrey sends a tambourine to Jane by parcel post. George and Zippy pretend to work at the post office. Then they all play a guessing game with wrapped up parcels.

Auntie Liz looks after George, Zippy & Bungle while Geoffrey is helping Rod, Jane & Freddy with their jumble sale. But Auntie Liz is being terribly over helpful.

George has gone missing during teatime. He is actually in his the spare room upstairs, which he calls his 'secret place'. He goes there when he wants to be alone with his doll Bertie and his shell collection.

Geoffrey explains to Bungle the difference between drawing something and doodling and scribbling.

The boys learn about protection. Such as protecting themselves from the sun, and examples of protective clothing in the work place.

Geoffrey wants to change his hair for a fancy dress party. The others join him in experimenting with several wigs, but Geoffrey ends up getting his hair cut instead.

Geoffrey has loaned a lot of books and a couple or cassette tapes from the library. Bungle decides he would like to be a librarian, so they all pretend to have a library in the Rainbow house.

Zippy is giving Bungle a singing lesson, but refuses to teach George. Alfred Marks comes to visit and gives George a private lesson.

Zippy has got something planned for when Denise comes to visit, but he won't tell anyone what it is and now he's all nervous and tongue-tied.
