The site manager Tommy runs the business at the tour operator Shine's local office in Gran Canaria a little as he wants and without interference, until Mårten from the head office is sent there to learn the business from the ground up.

Mårten are felling sorry fore a family that arrive to Playa del Sol whiteout having booked a room before they arrive. And as they got a rotten appartment so is he given away his room to the family. An initiative he bitterly regrets.

Mårten forces all the staff of "Playa del Sol" to wear new and redesigned yellow work uniforms that nobody likes.

Steffen happens to tell Mårten about the staff's sex diary in which everyone participated, except Tommy, who gets really pissed off about its existence

Tommy falls in love with a married woman, but Steffen is ahead. And Mårten goes to a Swedish dentist to ensure good dental care.

Steffen is appointed security officer and breaks Tommy's back. And Mårten wants to introduce a sober bar round but has to drink to cope whit is downfall's.

Mårten is terrified of riding a scooter and prefers to sit behind Sandra on her Vespa. And Tommy is forced to strip naked on a nudist beach and learns to appreciate it.

Mårten meets an old friend from Handels and is ashamed of his job. And he denies his co-workers who take a lot of offense.

Mårten goes temporarily back to Stockholm and wants to know how Sandra feels about him. And Steffen texts with two girls at the same time and Tommy starts to care about the guests' evaluations.

Mårten is in Stockholm and decides to marry Vendela but gets new doubts when he returns to Playa del Sol. And Tommy is planning a pig party and has spotted someone he likes in the wheelchair group.

Vendela arrives at Playa del Sol but Mårten does not dare to confront her, which makes Sandra angry. And Tommy and Linn have a near-death experience on a pedal boat and Tommy realizes that he loves Sandra.

Tommy wants to go home but can't. And Linn makes a parting gift to Tommy and Steffen is offered the position of acting site manager.
