A collector buys a Faberge egg in an antique shop, but at the exit it is attacked by criminals in masks. On the same day, Max is visited by an old acquaintance, Mikhail, and asks to shelter him for a while. Max agrees, not suspecting what his friend has been doing recently. Investigating the theft of a Faberge egg, Max goes to an antique dealer, and during the conversation he almost becomes a victim of a shooter who unexpectedly enters the salon and opens fire. Only the reaction of the faithful Dog saves the owner from mortal injury.

A bloody massacre took place in a restaurant owned by the famous thief in law Shchukin: the owner of the establishment himself, two of his friends and almost all of the staff were killed. The only survivor, a waitress, says a stripper girl staged the shooting. Max and the Dog have to find the mysterious "Mrs. X", but not only the police are looking for her.

A renowned collector of antiques found dead in his home. The cause of death is a gunshot wound to the head. Gnezdilov stubbornly insists on the version of suicide, but Max and Dog have serious objections to this.

In one of the nightclubs, the producer of a popular singer in the city was killed. The intruder shot him in front of the artist with the words "You will never belong to another." All the evidence points to the fact that a secret admirer of a celebrity went to the crime. To understand this matter, Max and the Dog will have to plunge into the crazy world of show business.

In the center of the city, three men open fire, in the end - one was killed, the second was wounded, the third escaped. The police cannot find any motive for the murder. Max suggests it looks like some kind of cruel safari. The investigation leads him to one of the participants. The version is confirmed - this is a game, and the one who survives will win. Max and the Dog begin to search for the initiator of the "game to fly".

An attempt to murder was made on the once popular actor Nikita Aksyonov - he was fired upon from a passing car. Nikita escaped with a small scratch, and his agent said that he had set up an assassination attempt in order to return the attention of the press to Nikita. The actor is happy, gives interviews and shows himself in front of the cameras. But it soon turns out that the assassination attempt was real.

Max escorts a drunk friend home. When the men enter the apartment, they notice that all the things are scattered, and his daughter Yulia is lying on the couch, unconscious and in bloody clothes. The girl only remembers how she met in a nightclub with a tall guy who treated her to a cocktail. After that, an expensive necklace disappeared from her. Several more similar robberies soon take place. All the victims had previously purchased jewelry at the Blesk jewelry store. Max and the Dog start looking for criminals.

An investigative experiment is taking place in the forest. Three police officers record the confessions of the maniac Pokotilov, who cruelly dealt with twelve women. Unable to withstand the cynical statements of the murderer, one of the guards hit the criminal with a bat in the stomach. Taking advantage of the confusion, Pokotilov took out a pistol hidden under a tree, shot the police officers and fled. Max is sure that Pokotilov did not organize the escape alone, he had an accomplice. So we need to find him.

A wave of strange crimes swept through the city. One evening in the theater a businessman and a cloakroom attendant were killed by an unknown killer. Max finds a friend and partner of the deceased man and says that he, along with four of his friends, collaborated with an unpleasant person, a certain Granin. When Granin was accused of fraud, he decided to get rid of his partners who could testify against him. To do this, the fraudster hired a killer, nicknamed the Fog. Max believes that Fog is fiction, because no one has ever seen it.

A mysterious maniac tortured to death two men - dealers in fake paintings and antiques. Their surviving partner told police that their union dates back to school days. Max found out that all the victims were in love with one girl, a school friend. When their friend Gleb called her out on a date, the inseparable trio wanted to play a trick and put a firecracker in his bag, due to the explosion of which the guy lost his hearing. Was this prank a fatal mistake?

Unidentified masked men raid an underground casino. In a shootout with the guards, one of the hijackers is killed, while the rest manage to escape. The search leads Max and the Dog into an intricate maze of criminal plans, where betrayal and a gangster's bullet await at every step.

A drug dealer and an employee of a reputable bank with an impeccable reputation - what could be in common between them? The answer is simple and at the same time terrible: they were brutally dealt with by the same strange person. According to eyewitnesses, the killer looked like a huge troll and muttered something about horses. Max and the Dog went to the stable to find traces of the mysterious criminal.

The fortune-teller predicts the imminent death of her ex-husband. Soon he is actually killed by two unknown persons right in her salon. The fortune-teller recalls that the criminals demanded some kind of laptop from him. Max discovers that the laptop, which is being hunted by criminals, contains an important invention related to nanotechnology. Max gets to the laptop first, but now the criminals are hunting him.

A workaholic boss does not enjoy the love of his employees. When he comes to work in the morning, he criticizes everyone from the doorway and calls one of his subordinates into his office. A minute later, the boss is found dead under the balcony of his own office. Gnezdilov is sure that nervous work drove the man to suicide, but Max and the Dog do not make hasty conclusions and begin their investigation.

The bandits attack a police van carrying a large consignment of confiscated cocaine. The attackers kill three escorts, throw sacks of drugs into their minibus and drive away. An old acquaintance of Max, the head of the department for combating drug trafficking, Pugachev, arrives at the scene of the crime and takes this case under his jurisdiction. However, Max and Leonidov continue the investigation and understand that it was not for nothing that Pugachev appeared in this case.

Leonidov accidentally becomes an unwitting witness to a bank robbery. After a shootout with the robbers, a bank employee is found among the victims. There are suspicions that the stray bullet that killed the employee was from Leonidov's pistol. Gnezdilov is completely sure of this. Max and Elena undertake to independently make an examination and establish whether Leonidov is really guilty of the woman's death. In the midst of the investigation, the main piece of evidence - that bullet - disappears.

An unknown maniac uses sophisticated methods to deal with his victims. In his opinion, he eradicates mortal sins in people: gluttony, adultery, anger. Police officers find at the crime scene a black rose and an inscription in blood, symbolizing one of the victim's sins. The killer's handwriting is similar to the Black Angel - a criminal convicted and serving a life sentence in prison. Has he escaped free? Max and the Dog have to find out.

A former policeman, an old friend of Max, turns to him for help: unknown persons have kidnapped his younger brother and demand a ransom for him. Max discovers that the story of the kidnapping is not as simple as it seems: the beginning of the crime drama goes far into the past, when his old friend made an unforgivable mistake.

Several mysterious poisonings take place in the city. All the victims are men who quarreled with their girlfriends. The unknown killer leaves no traces, the poison enters the victim's skin from a spray bottle. The thread of the investigation leads Max to the laboratory of the university. Perhaps the culprit is one of the students. Max turns to the teacher for help, but suddenly realizes that he is also poisoned.

A talented but poor mathematician wins a large sum in the lottery. That same evening, the killer strangles him with a belt and takes away the winning ticket. Max and the Dog begin to investigate, but they have to hurry, because Gnezdilov offered Max a bet: the one who is the first to solve the case remains in the department, and the loser quits.

The collector, who previously worked in the police, is undergoing a series of assassination attempts. All indications are that one of the clients of the collection agency decided to get rid of reminders of his debt. But the truth, as always, is hidden deeper, because Max managed to find out that the honest collector was not averse to earning some money through blackmail.

Several people, with no apparent motive, commit spontaneous murders. It is known that before the reprisals, someone called each of the criminals on the phone and said the strange phrase "the black pawn is moving." At the same time, none of the murderers can remember the very moment of the crime. Max is sure: it was not without hypnosis. But who and how exactly affects people who are completely unfamiliar with each other, and even for such a bloody goal?

Filming is going on in a forest glade. In the camera's lens - actors playing the roles of Lermontov and Martynov. Intense scene of the famous duel. Martynov throws up his pistol, a shot sounds, Lermontov falls. The assistants who run up see a lifeless body and blood - Martynov's pistol was loaded with a real bullet. In search of the culprit, Max and the Dog will have to unravel the tangle of intrigues and make an acquaintance with the other side of the cinematic business.

To exchange experience, Max is assigned colleagues from Germany - Klaus and Greta. The company is sent to investigate a new case: a famous journalist died in a bar. When examining the body, operatives discover that the man has traces of bloody tears on his cheeks. Later, a memory card found in the victim's stomach is sent from the laboratory. There is a recording on it in which a journalist talks about a warehouse. The detectives arrive at this warehouse and find three more lifeless bodies with bloody eyes.

The corpse of a guy with clown make-up and traces of wax was found. Max goes to the call and, leaving the apartment, meets the boy Sasha, who is waiting at the entrance for his aunt. Max offers to go with him to the department so as not to sit in the stairwell until the evening. Sasha agrees, he is smart and quick-witted, and he is trying to take part in the investigation. When a suspect appears, for whom there is not enough evidence yet, Sasha offers to provoke him and make him to make a mistake.

An unknown person kills single women and uploads a video of the massacre on the internet. Gnezdilov, as always, understands everything, but all his versions are far from reality. After the next appearance of the criminal on the web, he is detained. But it turns out that this is just a student who wanted to play a trick on fellow students. Meanwhile, the real killer again uploads the video for everyone to see.

Max saves his longtime acquaintance - the lawyer Ksenia - from the assassins pursuing her. Ksenia says that she collected information about corruption ties between the criminal world and the police. According to her version, the head of the department for combating organized crime "protects" criminal groups in the city. Max tries to find evidence, but gets threats instead. However, he is not used to retreating and always goes to the end, especially when his faithful friend, the Dog, is nearby.

The famous couturier Castelli is killed during a fashion show. Max interrogates his wife. She explains that there was no point in killing her husband, because all the property was already registered with her. The woman also says that her husband used drugs. Max discovers that Castelli owed the drug dealers a lot of money. Isn't it a motive?

A robbery of a jewelry store was committed. The guard from the hiding place kills the bandits, but together with them he unexpectedly kills the saleswoman. Max, together with the Dog, manages to find a bag with stolen jewelry hidden in the basement. Gnezdilov is pleased: the criminals are dead, the jewelry has been found. But even a cursory examination of the evidence allows Max to declare that not everything is so simple - the robbery is staged.

A maniac brutally kills girls named Elena. Near the body are found a photo of a woman who looks like those killed. Before the attack, everyone receives strange SMS and the same brooches as a gift. Maksimov, comparing the photos of the victims, discovers with horror that Elena, his ex-wife, is also somewhat similar to them. At this time, his ex-wife notices that someone is following her.

The driver of the car, in which the former policeman is traveling, almost knocks down an old bum with a cart from a supermarket, who suddenly appeared on the road. The passenger gets out of the car to teach a homeless man a lesson, but the old man throws a smoke bomb and immediately disappears. When the smoke clears, the man is found on the ground with no signs of life. Gnezdilov claims that it was a heart attack, but Max is sure that something more is behind the death of the ex-policeman.

In the morning, the woman found her daughter dead in the closet. The girl did not quarrel with anyone, did not keep secrets from her mother and was absolutely healthy. The investigation came to a standstill, and soon there was a message about a new death under strange circumstances. At the bus stop, a student fell dead, experts could not establish the exact cause of death. Leonidov learned that the victims were using a new drug called "radiance", which leaves no trace in the human body. Gnezdilov turned to magic rituals to be the first to find drug dealers, but Max ...

In the city, someone started a hunt for killers. In each case, the killer removes the glove from his victims. The dog for some reason ceases to obey Max and goes to his best friend. Leonidov finds out that the killer Bespaly may become the next victim. There is an assumption that the perpetrator takes off the glove for a personal motive: it is important for him to see how many fingers are on the victim's hand - in order to understand whether he killed the person. To whom did Bespaly cross the road?

A motorcyclist in a black jacket and a mirrored helmet kills a young man and leaves a white rose at the crime scene. Max tries to figure out the motives for the mysterious crime, but Gnezdilov is struggling to get in the way. When the investigation reaches a dead end, Max makes a difficult decision and voluntarily goes to jail.

The recidivist maniac was poisoned along with the escorts on the way to court. For the murder, the unknown used a deadly gas. During the investigation, it turns out that, while sitting in the cell, the offender wrote a letter with a request to kill him. He was going to give this note to someone at will.

The corpses of a mistress and lover were found in the apartment, the Dog and Max also find a murdered husband with a gun in his hands in the closet. Everything is very clear to Gnezdilov: the husband came home, found his wife with another, shot both of them, hid in the closet and took his own life. Max is not in a hurry with conclusions, because there is an important piece of evidence in the case: a remote control was found in the room, but there is no TV.

Igor has long suspected his wife of infidelity and once tried to catch her red-handed. Suddenly returning from a business trip, he saw all the indirect traces of treason: two glasses on the table, scattered women's clothes. But in the bedroom a terrible surprise awaited him - the dead body of his wife with traces of a violent death. Also, at the scene of the murder, another person's blood is found and, judging by its amount, he should already be dead. But where is the second victim? Meanwhile, an unknown person calls Max. He threatens to take revenge on him for ...

An unknown criminal kidnaps the winner of a beauty pageant from the dressing room, and after a while the police find her dead. Someone strangled the girl and threw her body in the street. Soon, another strangled contestant is found in the gateway. Max and the Dog will have to expose another maniac.

Max and Dog are having hot days. Suddenly it turns out that all the killers of the city are hunting for Max. An unknown person placed an open order on the internet: anyone who killed Max will receive a solid reward. Max is facing a difficult task - to find a customer and stay alive.

Over the course of several days, a series of major robberies of underground casinos that belong to the city authority Sedoy take place. Interestingly, during the attack, the bandits pretend to be special forces. Max and the Dog will have to figure out who exactly is hiding behind the mask of the riot police and why exactly Sedoy is the object of such intense interest of the bandits.

In an abandoned warehouse, a certain Semyon Morozov, who was wanted for robbery of cash collectors, was brutally killed. Since Semyon robbed more than one, Max is sure that his accomplices will continue to "share" the stolen money. One of them - a bandit named Chernobay - is in prison. Max offers to use him to help find the killer, and negotiates his temporary release. But the criminal has to be driven by handcuffs all the time.

Several families in the city at once receive strange parcels from the same address. The boxes contain neatly cut off men's fingers. The recipients claim that they do not know each other and have never seen the sender either. When a severed ear is found in the next parcel, it becomes known what unites all recipients.

A murder takes place on one of the busy streets of the city: a hearse knocks down a collector to death. The partner of the deceased assures the police that it was not an accident. He saw how the hearse drove over the unfortunate man several times. In addition, according to him, money disappeared from the car. Gnezdilov is sure that this was a murder with the purpose of robbery, but Max suspects that the two crimes are not connected in any way. His fears are confirmed: in the cash collection machine, he finds the missing money hidden in a box with tools. The collector ...

A popular avenger appeared in the city, who kills the "majors" and leaves the mark of "Batman" at the crime scene. Meanwhile, the boss assigns his niece Alice to Max for an internship. Max is not happy about this at all, but together they must find out who and for what punishes the children of the big shots.

In a hotel room, businessman Aleksey was brutally killed - a sharpened wooden stake was stuck in his body. Suspicions fall on his wife - her husband often cheated on her with other women, and she could avenge her suffering. This version breaks to pieces when the businessman's wife is found dead, with a stake in her chest.

A murder is committed in the city square. When Max arrives at the crime scene, Leonidov and Gnezdilov are already waiting for him. As usual, Gnezdilov tries to pin the blame on the first person he comes across. Max reminds him of the presumption of innocence, and the Dog finds a sleeping tramp in a pile of leaves, who recalls that he saw Gnezdilov just during the crime.

Elena meets a former classmate Boris, who quietly puts a USB flash drive in her pocket. Elena gets into the car and notices that she is being followed. She calls Max, and he saves his ex-wife from the pursuers. In the department, the Dog behaves like a bodyguard and does not leave Elena. While the police are trying to find out the details of the incident, Leonov reports that they have found a fired car. The deceased driver is a classmate of Elena, Boris.

A new neighbor appeared in the house and took over the apartment above Max. One morning Max and the Dog woke up from strange sounds - noise and groans came from the apartment above. Overcoming doubts, the couple decided to figure out what was the matter. Having knocked down the door, they saw a terrible picture - all this time the neighbor was tortured. Max sheltered the girl for a while, but soon another shock awaited them: a neighbor's beloved was found dead in his own car.
