Paul O'Grady: For the Love of Dogs

Paul babysits a gang of mischievous Staffordshire Bull Terrier pups who need to learn some manners and a mystery mongrel who was reported stolen 13 years ago.

Paul meets some special dogs who need to go to unconventional homes, including a dog with star potential and a pointer cross who may have been shot at in the past.

Paul is asked to help bottle feed a pair of week-old kittens whose mother has abandoned them. He also meets a gang of dogs who must learn how to be dogs.

Paul meets a 9-month-old terrier called Roo who is far too young to have puppies, but was found roaming the streets, heavily pregnant. He also meets a puppy having trouble with his eyesight.

Paul falls in love with an Akita who doesn't seem to know he's an Akita. He also meets Hugo who's been down on his luck but could end up being adopted. Paul then meets a former racing greyhound ready for life in a domestic setting.

Paul meets Boo, the albino Pekingese, who is riddled with health problems which make him harder to re-home. Paul helps to soothe Splash, who was rescued from the Thames. He also meets Norah, an unvaccinated Labrador with a mystery illness.

Paul meets Barry, an agoraphobic Staffy cross who is too scared to even go outside for a wee. Paul suspects an usually quiet chihuahua may be in pain. He also meets a gang of dogs who need separating.

Paul meets a Pyrenean mountain dog who has a problem with her bladder and an overweight Westie who needs to get in shape.

Paul returns once again to Battersea Dogs Home to help dogs with behavioural problems, including a reclusive mongrel and a grumpy Yorkshire terrier.
