Paul O'Grady: For the Love of Dogs

Paul is back at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home where he meets Sophie who has had her ears and tail illegally docked, and a Yorkie found wandering the streets.

Paul attempts to nurse back to health the most badly injured dog he has ever seen - a saluki. He also tries to find a home for an OAP, dentally challenged Shih Tzu.

Paul O'Grady meets Florence, a pug-terrier cross who's been badly injured in a car accident, and talks to actress and comedian Jennifer Saunders, one of the volunteers at Battersea.

Paul dons protective clothing to meet Humphrey, an 11 week old Bedlington Terrier who is suffering from ringworm. He joins head vet Shaun on the streets treating dogs belonging to London's homeless.

Paul meets Cookie a hyperactive Staffie, a 2-year-old French Mastiff in need of some love and a Dog de Bordeaux found tied up in a park. Charlie, a teacup poodle has a broken leg.

Paul helps to train a Pomeranian puppy called Stormy and meets a French bulldog called Spudnik who desperately needs surgery to open his airways.

Paul O'Grady meets a 10-week-old gender neutral collie who's been rejected by their mother. He also has his work cut out when a family of nine whippets arrive on site.

Paul helps rehabilitate Maisie the mastiff cross who's had surgery on her elbow. He also helps to cheer up a heartbroken staffie who is struggling with life in the kennels.

Paul returns to Battersea Dog's Home for this Christmas Special in which he meets a very withdrawn West Highland Terrier and a Bichon Frise who helps him spread festive joy.
