Fabie is in all states, now that Mees has suddenly disappeared. She hastily leaves for Norway and Pip goes to stay with Johan and Ella. Merel wakes up ashamed after her night with the neighbor got out of hand. Nina moves back to her mother, much to Tim and Dina's chagrin. Carola and Marcel are making serious plans for their new beach club. Erik goes out to dinner with Hannah from the bookshop, Chris sleeps badly and Dina is hired as the new vice principal of Hugo de Groot College.

Erik and Hannah's relationship begins to take serious shape. Lieke finds a job at a call center and when Chris oversleeps for the umpteenth time, he comes into conflict with Mr. Vermeulen. Max gets very bad news about his knee injury and Fabie misses Mees, who has stayed with his father in Norway. Merel and Maarten sink their teeth into a major case against a home investor. When Lieke finally comes to eat again, things go the old-fashioned way between her and Merel.

Dina worries about Max. Chris is preparing for his admission to the Rietveld Academy and Carola is going to take a course to get over her fear of driving. Fabie has a very short fuse and visits a physiotherapist because of persistent neck pain. Danny goes to visit Kim in the clinic where she was admitted and Pip is asked out by Jeroen, her colleague from the supermarket. Tim and Lieke have a big quarrel and in Norway things are also running high between Mees and his father Martin.

Danny tries to figure out exactly what's going on with Kim. Pip and Jeroen are madly in love and in Norway Mees and his father come closer together. As an experiment, Danny leaves his phone at home for a day and Lieke is allowed to practice on the piano with Lodewijk for her audition at the conservatory. Hansje worries about her relationship with Bob and Chris is in a state of flux when he oversleeps for his admission to the Rietveld academy. Erik invites Hannah to eat at his house and introduces her to Chris, Lieke and Hansje.

The relationship between Merel and Maarten is starting to get pretty serious, but Erik and Hannah don't know how to proceed now that Hannah's wish to have children is suddenly on the table. Dina collides with a difficult student and Chris retakes his admission at the Rietveld. Jeroen is introduced to Fabie and Lieke's birthday is celebrated at Erik's home. Things go horribly wrong between Fabie and Carola, who is hard at work in the beach shed, but during the opening party they make up for it and an unexpected guest arrives.

Erik suffers greatly from the fact that Hannah has broken up and is also concerned about Lodewijk, who is becoming increasingly confused and insecure. Fabie is overjoyed that Mees is back and immediately feels a lot better. Jeroen tells Pip that he does not want sex before marriage because of his faith. Johan and Ella are very displeased when they hear that Mees is not going back to school, but is going to work in the beach shed with Marcel and Carola. Lieke is not accepted at the conservatory and things go wrong between her and Merel.

During a dinner at Merel's house, Hansje and Maarten seem to get along well. Because it's not really storming in the beach shed yet, Ingrid and Maria propose to organize a seventies party. Lieke has decided to study archeology and is busy looking for a room. When Chris is told that he has not been accepted at the Rietveld, his world collapses. Danny struggles with Kim becoming more and more dependent on him and Fabie runs into her physiotherapist Willem at the seventies party.

Nina struggles with her home situation and Danny and Chris are hard at work for their final exams. Lieke has found a room and Tim helps with odd jobs. Carola passes her driving anxiety exam with flying colors. Fabie has a nice date with Willem, but worries about Jeroen's influence on Pip. Tim starts cycling more and more fanatically. Erik is astonished when Lodewijk has suddenly disappeared and when Hansje goes to look at a case of Maarten, something completely unexpected happens.

Max's knee has healed and he is allowed to play football again, but to Dina's and Tim's surprise, he doesn't seem too happy about this news. Maarten is in a care hotel after his heart attack, where Merel visits him daily and behaves impossibly. Lieke gets annoyed by her new roommates who don't clean up and Sammie and Chris make plans to go to Australia. Dina burns out at school, Marcel tries to find out what is wrong with his father and Max is in love. Erik and Lodewijk go to see a sheltered home.

Chris, Sammie and Danny all passed. Tim picks up and successfully applies for a job. Merel seeks help from a therapist now that her daughters have both turned away from her. Hans lives with Bob, but living together does not go smoothly. Gwen comes over to vacate the family home, and Danny and Kim have an enlightening conversation. At the graduation party in the shed, Lieke Merel tells plainly that she does not want any contact for the time being.
