Jens Piecek lands in hospital after picking a fight as he and his bride are denied entry to their honeymoon cruiser as the travel agency failed to book their fully paid trip aboard the MS Deutschland, which Wolle planned to book in honor of his late mother's lifelong dream. Mattes and Hans work out with the cruise director Beatrice that her friend Annette Bünting's local agency was abused in several such cases, the work of a ruthless womanizer.

Wolle did a seminar and convinces the boss to try out a month-long team switch. Tariq can't stomach his sister dating anyone, even Mattes isn't safe for his 'warning' fist. Mattes hard-handedly arrest a red-handed-caught car thief, but Claudia recognizes her undercover former partner Gerald Renner. She helps him escape without confiding in anyone after being told he's finally setting a trap for crime baron Kurt Schellmann, only to find the police raid in his HQ fruitless do to a precinct mole. Tarik just painstakingly proved his innocence in a similar case, and won't rest until he unmasks the mole, suspecting even intern Max, who cleverly dodged Wolle's hazing prank.

Responding to a confused, broken-off cellphone call from a woman about a missing baby boy, Matthes finds her in the deer park, near the car of well-off Dana Schmied, too erratic to give useful information, paranoid about baby-thieves. Tariq gently breaks in the Schmied villa, ad finds it a mess with blood trail, but when Dana's grumpy husband Michael arrives he doesn't even know the apparent abductor of his son Jacob, searching his cellar Tariq finds Dana, restrained by two former out-patients of the psychiatric asylum where she had been therapist. On dreaded stickler Wolf Haller's first day as the new precinct 21 commander, he's blackmailed byTheo Mendes, who was just released after serving 25 years, maintaining his innocence. Theo burnt a car to render credible his claim he'll murder a kidnapped innocent unless the real murderer turns himself in that day, holding Haller responsible -besides parties meanwhile deceased- for his conviction and lost life. The dynamic, demanding new chief makes a good impression on Tariq, a bad on the ER doc team and was in academy with Claudia.

The precinct mobilizes to evacuate urgently a Hamburg quarter where a sharp, never exploded WW II bomb was found on a construction site. The expert team must delay removal as several people stayed behind in a rest home. Someone knocked down the caretaker and stole valuables. While Hans's team investigate theories, focusing on "Wheel Devils" Harald Wenners and Frank Hamann, who intimidate everyone away from Ingo in ER, they find the criminal biker gag was involved in corruption and the port's red light district. Impopular, shifty, erratic 'deadbeat' ex-junk with a record Marc Böll is accused by his neighbors -except a crone he alone helps out- of shooting with an alarm pistol at one of them, but is cleared by forensics despite owning a pistol and having fled.
