Robert Trow dresses up in his Bob Dog costume so that Rogers can compare a real hound to a man in a dog costume. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, everyone, except Prince Tuesday, knows Mayor Maggie and Queen Sara will trade places for a day. This leads to the inevitable misunderstanding.

Mister Rogers brings a clown mask and talks about clowns. There are visiting clowns In Make-Believe, too. Queen Sara and Mayor Maggie learned a lot about each other from switching jobs, but decide they're happier in their own jobs.

Mister Rogers and Betty Aberlin visit the circus to see acrobats, elephants and tigers. They go backstage to watch a clown put on his make up. In Make-Believe, Daniel's friends help him overcome his fear of clowns and other costumes.

Mister Rogers pretends it's nighttime, turns out lights and pulls out his sofa bed. He shows there are no "monsters" under the bed and has a video of how people make flashlights. In Make-Believe, nighttime brings lots of feelings.

Mister Rogers and puppet Daniel Tiger visit Moscow and appear on Russia's nighttime children's television program "Good Night, Little Ones." In Make-Believe, Lady Elaine is scaring Daniel Tiger with her talk about falling stars.

Mister Rogers puts on a scuba diver's mask and snorkel. In Make-Believe, Henrietta is scared by someone in a mask because she can't see his face. Mister Rogers also puts on a firefighter's mask and uniform to help children with their fears.

The host of a Russian children's show visits with her puppet and a video of how people make Matrouska dolls, wooden dolls that "nest" inside each other. In Make-Believe, an unusual nighttime visitor, a spaceman, arrives from the sky.
