The director of the bank of Ravenburg contacts Napoleon: he was offered a philosopher's stone which is able to turn iron into gold. The director wants to know if this is really possible and if the outcome is indeed gold. Poet Rene Van Den Kapblok has an issue: he bet with a magician. The bet is that the magician would not be able to possess the watch of Van Den Kapblok within next 24 hours.
