The blue canary-bird of mister Reynaert stays temporary at bureau Merlina. The bird is insured for two million Belgian Francs and will most probably win a nearby bird singing contest. Although Pol watches the bird during the night, a sparrow is in the cage next morning.

A shady man sells "golden" amulets as protection against a water spirit.

Each week one or more attributes are stolen in a Chinese restaurant.

Mister Boeykens, the founder of the detective bureau Floepi, must succeed in his examinations to get his certificate and license as a real detective. The examination is taken by Pol. He gives Boeykens the task to find out who is stealing whiskey out of the cellar at the house of lady Macendoe.

Go-cart-racer Van Brabant seeks for help at bureau Floepi: he receives threatening letters in which is written he may not participate the next race where a huge amount of money is to be win.

A pharmacist seeks for help at bureau Merlina: he gave a wrong medicine to a customer - for her baby - but he does not know to whom he gave it. If the medicine is taken by the baby, its stomach will tear open leading to a decease. Mister Boeykens helps bureau Merlina in their search.

A knocking ghost is haunting the mansion of count Villa de Belettagio.

A jeweler already thought he would be robbed so he put fake diamonds in his briefcase.

Noëlla is in search for her biological parents.

A pilot is blackmailed and a drunk commissioner Stapel must arrest the wrongdoer after the ransom money has been paid.

Pol becomes a member of a cycling team. He has to find out who is destroying the wheels of the bikes and how commissioner Stapel was able to finish before Pol although Pol bypassed Stapel somewhere at the beginning of the race.

A boy is forced by villain Sardonis to steal an Austrian doll in the Mechelen Toy Museum.

The jewels, ordered by the queen of the United Kingdom at the jewelry of mister Goudsmit, are stolen by a member of the Sardonis-gang.

The burglar of the jewels for the queen of the United Kingdom has been caught. The jewels are taken by boat to Dover but criminals hijack the boat.

Detective Boeijkens from bureau Floepie outsources a job to bureau Merlina after he finds out his case is about knocking ghosts.

Villain Sardonis want to use the boat "De Tante Roosje" to smuggle the stolen mummy of pharaoh Amenothep to America.

Sardonis orders doctor Igor Mortis to use plastic surgery on someone so that person resembles Napoleon. This fake Napoleon must take the place of the real one aiming to steal the secret files out of the safe deposit box.

Pol is hit by a car. The driver gives Pol 5000 Belgian Francs as compensation to fix his broken bike and to buy a new bouquet of flowers for Merlina's birthday. After Pol buys a new bouquet he is arrested by the police as he paid with fake money.

A street music group is asked to perform at a benefit, but it seems the group cannot play at all and is only a set-up to hide the noise of the fake money machine of villain Sardonis.
