Nicky forgets to go to antenatal class with Gabrielle and clashes with Wendy. Ken's hot date does not start well.

Nicky has taken the news of her father's illness hard. Chad seems to be toying with Dana's feelings. Kieran is planning a weekend away with Chad, and Gabrielle is stressing about her baby-naming ceremony.

Morrie's garden shed gets blown up. Ken thinks it was Anton and obsesses over proving it. Nicky suffers for her mistake. Alistair makes some surprising discoveries when he tries to help his depressed patients.

Anton is interviewed by the police about Curis Willoughby's car in his yard. Nikki and Kieran go to Christchurch for her father's funeral. The investigation reaches far and wide. Ken gets frustrated.

Nicky and Kieran's impromptu engagement party coincides with the first performance of Wayne's band. At the announcement of Nicky's engagement, Alistair is gutted. In drunken misery, he kisses Michelle and tries to look up Liz.

Alistair helps a neighbour and makes a pact with the devil. Dana helps a friend and causes a furore.

Guy's book is published, and the central characters seem very familiar. Anton harasses from behind bars. Amanda turns up unexpectedly, giving Nicky the opportunity to question her about the party where Curtis was last seen.

Allegations are made against Todd. Kieran is released on bail. Nicky considers running away. William meets an old friend.

Louise tries to help the needy. Wendy's ex-husband turns up to see his dying mother, while Wendy tells Ken she might be pregnant. Dana has suspicions about her boyfriend. A robbery goes horribly wrong.

Follows Fruit of Good Work. William is taken to hospital with stab wounds in a critical condition. The search starts for Monique and Marley. Dana catches Chad out in a lie. Nicky fails to save Anton. Alistair gets his heart's desire.

Alistair is still enjoying stolen time with Nicky. William is recuperating but Alistair and Nicky are alarmed when he seems determined to return to work before he is ready. Ken finds there's a strange phenomenon at work in Bassett.

As Kieran and Amanda's trial looms, Nicky is doing her best to ignore it. Ken and Dana have resumed social outings but Ken is stunned when Dana decides to propose.
