Frank hurries to sell the cache of vintage wine to make himself a fortune. Max gets fleeced by some Israeli card sharks and names Frank to bail him out. And Tessa is disappointed when Frank rejects her plans to create a refuge for battered Ethiopian women-and she's even more upset when she learns of his subterfuge with the wine.

Although Frank wishes to return to England, Tessa wants to remain in Israel to finish her Ethiopian project. With the couple at a crossroads, Tessa makes a choice.

When Tessa finally arrives, Frank suggests they work together on his business affairs, but she remains mistrustful and turns him down. Accepting that their marriage is over, Tessa attends legal counseling sessions to work out the terms of their separation, but the two end up bickering.
