Jan goes head to head with another student who suggests she may have been admitted to law school for reasons other than merit.

Dave's inability to pay Frank leads to strained relationships.

Jan's life turns upside down when Chris' father returns. Annie and Stuart have difficulty keeping up appearances.

Nathan must decide how to present himself when his biological father returns.

An old best friend of Ben's arrives for dinner, and Marsha is jealous. Jan and Lionel try out a new life together.
