Still unable to sleep Valérie turns to meditation and meets Alexa, a girl who is, shall we say, somewhat... unusual. Madeleine and Gilles have to tell Valérie that she's bankrupt. And that her dog has died. Éric has taken Thomas on holiday to Cape May.

Run away: Valérie has to go back and live with her mother. And to add to her misfortunes, her car is stolen. About to head off on holiday to the chalet, Simon and Josiane have the unpleasant surprise of seeing a visitor arrive, as unexpected as he is undesirable: Simon's brother J-F.

Madeleine gets a little too involved in Valérie's (non-existent) sex life Valérie and issues a challenge where the stakes are too tempting to be refused. Madeleine's new publisher openly criticises her manuscript: has she finally found a worth adversary?

Tired of Kevin's constant snide remarks about the unacceptable behaviour of "their husband", Valérie moves back in with her mother again. Whilst she and J-F struggle to find a little privacy, Éric and Thomas return home. But Kevin's welcome is icy to say the least.

Valérie has no news of J-F and tries every possible means of finding him. Madeleine asks her daughter to write the preface to her biography. Éric and Kevin begin relationship counselling.

Confidences: Valérie discovers that her mother was drugging her to make her sleep. Furious, she moves out again, and in with Éric and Kevin. Whilst Thomas might be delighted to see his mum and dad together under the same roof again, Kevin doesn't see things quite the same way.

Release: Éric and Kevin return to Cape May for a few days. Valérie takes advantage of the opportunity to spend time with her son. Stéphane agrees to drop legal proceedings against Madeleine, who offers a surprising trade-off.

Valérie agrees to participate in Éric and Kevin's therapy. Madeleine looks after Thomas and uses the time to work on her idea for a television programme with Stéphane. Suzanne is there as well, joining in the discussion whilst cooking. With the therapist, they go back over Éric's somewhat tumultuous coming-out.

Grudges: Since the salsa incident, Valérie is haunted by Simon. Objects belonging to Madeleine mysteriously disappear. Éric and Kevin decide to confess to Valérie their desire to have a child.

Fury: Valérie accepts her father's offer: a Danault cleaning franchise. Madeleine wants to convince her contacts to take part in the pilot for the TV show, but gets one refusal after another. Stéphane doesn't fare much better. Why? Valérie advises them on the ideal guest for the first programme.

Will Madeleine keep her promise to go camping with Thomas? Valérie prepares a super supper for him with strict instructions not to be late. After their disappointing holiday, Simon and Josiane return home to discover that J-F is still squatting. And what's going on between Simon and Valérie?

Totally distraught by Simon, Valérie seeks refuge with Rachel. Madeleine discovers pages from her biography in the swimming pool. Is Valérie the guilty party? Kevin secretly goes to the police station to order Simon to leave Valérie alone.Then J-F makes a surprising discovery, that rapidly degenerates into a free-for-all.

A particularly difficult morning-after Valérie, who doesn't want to do anything at all, and certainly not go camping with her mother and Thomas. So, when everyone is ready for the off, Valérie can't be found. Simon wants to try to explain his behavior to her.
