While getting ready for her big day at work, Valerie Danault, superwoman in the flesh, discovers louse in her son's hair. That means no school or daycare. Her ex-husband and his boyfriend cannot miss an important funeral, and since bringing her son to work is out of the question, she is just going to have to bite the bullet and contact her mother, to end their months-long silent war. Valerie's struggle to maintain self control and stick to her agenda transforms into a surrealistic slide into chaos.

Valérie has an appointment with officer Phaneuf following her arrest and the complaint she lodged against him. During this conciliation meeting, Valérie seems in better spirits than on the day of her arrest and even talks about withdrawing her complaint.
