A new house in the suburbs, a family party to celebrate his diploma and his new job: life is taking shape for Maxim. Panicking, at a crossroads, she decides to upset all her balance.

Dating Elizabeth spices up her daily life by trying to charm her. Laurence is looking for a way to keep an eye on her boyfriend whom she suspects of infidelity.

Confronted by Laurence, Maxim decides to move away from all sources of judgment by looking for an apartment. Meanwhile, Laurence tries to find the truth about William.

Freshly installed in his new apartment, Maxim accepts a job in a night bar. She also gives in to the charms of Nikki, to the dismay of François who refuses to leave his life.

Maxim arrives in Quebec for a family photo shoot while Laurence enjoys a meal with her grandmother and her parents.

Nikki has to face up to her friends and justify her decision to date a married man. Maxim hesitates to take things any further with her neighbour and wonders just what it is that's pushing her to get into a serious relationship.

Laurence tries to hide her anxiety but it only makes her think all the more about the conversations she'd discovered on William's computer. Meanwhile Maxim decides to give things a go with her neighbour.

One of Elizabeth's acquaintances adds a little bit of spice to her everyday life with a veritable charm offensive. Laurence is looking for a way to keep an eye on her boyfriend whom she suspects is two-timing her.

Elizabeth begins a virtual relationship with Benoît, whilst William tells Laurence exactly what he thinks of her for spying on his movements.

To calm her sister's anxiety and earn some much-needed cash, Maxim accepts a job in the company run by her brother-in-law, Jean-Simon. But the latter doesn't realize the extent to which Elizabeth is playing with fire and falls under Benoît's spell.

William takes advantage of the situation and manipulates Laurence, who is completely crushed. Totally in love with Patrick, Nikki is incapable of saying no to him, whatever he asks for.

Maxim accepts a contract in her home town of Quebec. Laurence is shaken by some unexpected news that further widens the gulf between her and William.

Maxim decides not to make the same mistake yet again, by falling for a boy who tries to seduce her. The three friends have less and less contact with one another, each living their own personal problems and misery alone.
