(BURGEMEESTER) Sheriff Jack enthusiastically reports a family moving in just got the town over the legal 100 inhabitants limit to start electing its own mayor. He add his candidacy, but despite popular request (mostly from Bessy) Joe refuses to stand, leaving only Twiggly. The two campaign, with Moe viz. Bessy in charge of promotion, which rests solely on freebies. Joe's proposal for program speeches only proves neither has actual plans. Twiggly decides to cheat by setting up Jack as alleged thief from the town's meager treasury, actually in the saloon's cash register...

(AUTOMAAT) Sheriff Jack laughs at Moe's sighing the saloon can't afford an automatic dispenser, but when he hears a manufacturing company charges 200 silver pieces, offers her and Joe one for 100, which is accepted. Although Joe's tests don't start well, on account of it having no mechanism but Jack's cahoot Slampie inside as dumbest contraption in the Wild West, Moe pays Jack, who rushes of with the loot. Next morning, with Slampie having consumed most items, as he was promised freebies ad lib, Joe soon discovers the truth. Jack is set up to believe a traveling ...

(DROMENVANGER) Sheriff Jack laughs at Slampie's dream-catcher like Joe and mates, until he realizes the scam potential. One by one, he makes the others pay and believe their wishes are made to come true. Most skeptic, Joe finds out Jack only fakes a Vegas career for Twiggly and so on, and works out a counter-ploy.

(STRENGE SHERIFF) Sheriff Jack not only ends last in he newspaper's ranking of Far West sheriffs, the whole saloon ridicules him as a sissy walk-over. They stop laughing when he starts strictly applying the old town law code, which provides jail terms for countless infractions. As the town jail in being repaired, one by one the saloon regulars are chained to a bench with a heavy prison ball. Only Joe approves of strict law enforcement, yet accidentally falls victim of it for an absurd horse parking offense. The gang's last hope i getting hold of the key, but defeat is...

(HOTEL JABALOE) The whole saloon gang shares Bessy's and Twinkly's excitement when their idol Vegas singer, Lady Gogo, is announced to tour in the region. A stop in Jabaloe is planned, but a celebrity expects a lucurious hotel, the town has hone, so Moe exhausts Joe by turning the saloon into one, even converting his room in to the VIP suite. The whole gang is re-cast as hotel staff, even Jack as chamber maid, eager for a chance to propose. Alas, Vegas cancels the tour due to illness, but Moe's training program is too intense to take notice, and dismissed messenger ...

(SLECHTE GEWOONTES) The whole saloon gang jointly entered and won the Far West lottery, but the prize can't be split up: a horse. So Joe thinks of a competition: it goes to whoever manages longest to abstain from his or her gang-designated bad habit. The Jabaloe battle goes on, so sheriff Jack decides to trick one by one into reverting to their disqualifying vices. He wins, but the prize turns out an embarrassing disappointment, and his trickery is discovered.

(HET AFSCHEID) With Slampie playing the extras, Vegas-audition-eager Twinkly and Bessy rehearse for a play about a couple departing. Only overhearing some dialogue, first sheriff Jack, next other saloon mates believe they're actually planning to leave, with kids. The baffled pair waves attempts to keep them in Jabaloe, sheriff Jack even proposes to Bessy, who only has eyes for Joe, and who makes Moe realize the saloon can badly do without two major regulars.

(GELUKSKLAVERTJEVIER) Sheriff Jack sold a lucky shamrock from Happytown to Slampie, who is happily convinced it ended his bad luck. The rest of the gang is skeptical, even laugh at the superstition. So Jack enlists Slampie's help to make each saloon mate in turn feel so unlucky they end up buying his overpriced shamrocks, ultimately even Joe 'just in case'. The plan worked, but Slampie soon spills the beans.

(SALOON JOURNAL) The saloon gang agrees that the local newspaper is far from interesting. Moe resolves to start their own, the saloon Journal, with Joe as editor. Sheriff Jack and the others dread admitting it, but his intellectually meritorious articles are almost as intelligible to all of them as to simpleton Slampie, who acts as clumsy printer, while sales are disappointing. As Joe refuses to drop the quality, Moe sacks him and starts printing juicy gossip, mostly lies or gross exaggerations, which the gang eagerly reads, but all turn on each-other and stop ...

(BESSY'S HERO) Another play text inspires Bessy, and Vegas-crazy Twinkly, to dream about being rescued by a hero, and kissed, the main part for Bessy, as it must be Joe. The romantics enlist klutz Slampie as cahoot to stage various situations for Bessy to be rescued, but Joe never has to, nor shows any interest in kissing. Sheriff Jack gets wind of the plan and decides to take Joe's place, but now Bessy looses interest, unlike crone Moe.

(POLLY POODLES) Joe and the other boys swoon as a performance is announced of Hollywood singer Polly Poodles. Bessy is green with envy, as nobody can suffer her 'singing'. Having got caught by bragging into a bet for tickets he can get the celebrity to perform in town, Twiggly inspires Bessy to impersonate the celebrity, disguised. It works, everyone falls for the glamour, while only Joe even convinced himself the cacophony is angelic singing. The cards house crushes down when the newspaper reports Polly canceled all concerts due to illness.

(MOE'S CUISINE) Despite Joe's due doubt if there is a market for Moe's dream of 'haute cuisine', she gets his blessing 'to make her happy' by closing the saloon and transforming it into a fancy restaurant, with him as charming waiter. Alas her fancy cooking is inedible, so Joe had a hard time convincing the others to come and pretend enjoying the weird plates. As that can't go on, they plot to make Moe drop the plan herself. So sheriff Jack disguises himself as gastronomically spoiled tycoon Duke, with Bessy as his wife. Their absurd demands on 'Hollywood style' end ...

(TWINKLY'S ERFENIS) Twinkly boasts his great great great uncle from Vegas, whom he never met, left him his fortune as sole heir. He intends to become a big spender, but when everyone sucks up for a piece of the cake, bluntly declares nobody else is getting a cent. Seriff Jack decides to pose as nonexistent brother, to claim half the fortune, and promises to generously spread the doe around town. The inheritance turns out to be a huge piggy bank and an even bigger disappointment.
