Team dragon has been apart for some time and the head surgeon has been in New York City in USA. Noguchi is back from Thailand in a new role managing risk and, naturally, not welcomed by the team members. A woman with a dangerous situation is looking for a remedy, but there is only one person who can be entrusted with the operation.

The foreign corporate types have taken over the hospital and are executing on their expansion plans. This plan has nothing to do with patient welfare however. An old patient is labelled 'a whiner' and becomes the point of contention between Doctor Asada and the bureaucracy. They deliberately split the team so they can divide and conquer.

The Batista team is split with half of it sent to a sister hospital to fail. The old patient is not coincidentally sent here when the original operating hospital refuses to admit him. There is a shortage of qualified personnel here however. What is more, a surprise awaits the surgeon and his team when the surgery commences. The anesthesiologist is hot for men.

One of the two teenage patients transferred to the hospital is the daughter of the Minister Of Health affording the hospital the opportunity to impress the man. This is the same minister whose favour is being sought. Unfortuanetly, the girl becomes a tool in the ploy for money. A member of the hospital's staff is addicted to chocolate. There is no limit to the administrator's greed.

The patient flees to the hospital of choice when her minder is not looking. She is the love child of the Minister Of Health so he is not happy about it. To make matters more complicated she is not in good shape and requires immediate surgery, but with her blood type being D the hospital is in a bind.

He is unhappy with the decision when he is not part of the surgical team and subsequently commits a medical error while operating on an elderly patient who wanted a different doctor to begin with. The patient needs a second surgery as a result, but then there is a typhoon which causes a blackout at the hospital. Things become worse with the emergency back-up sources running out of power.

An old patient is back and coincidentally meeting with the doctor who performed an early surgery for the family. Tis time it is the patient's mother who has cancer and has been referred to this hospital. The doctor, however, is a drunkard and is bound to disappoint the patient. This leads to derision and a punch in the face,

A new patient is admitted to the hospital and comes face-to-face with someone he had not seen in a long time. It turns out that the person will ave a hand in restoring what she was complicit in. A moment of redemption is almost disrupted by the father who is also a lawyer specializing in medical cases. The scheming corporate minion is being stabbed in the back herself.

The official inspection day for Meishin is drawing near, but the director is not well. This is to be his day of triumph, but he cannot allow anything to get in his way. Another doctor at the hospital suspects something. meanwhile, a young patient in need of a transplant is admitted to the sister hospital. There is alack of organs in Japan.

A young patient is in need of a heart transplant, but donors are scarce and even more so at that age. The boy has never run, played or been what every normal boy is. His mother and brother are by his side. He falls ill and is in need of immediate liver operation. In the meanwhile an older patient is also waiting at the hospital.

The surgeon is determined to take care of his young patient; however, what he is about to do is prohibited. Will he be turfed from the profession? he does not care. A heart is on its way, but the road is blocked and the clock is ticking. A special taxi service is procured. The hospital administrator is proceeding with his corporate scheming.
