Marcus, Shane and the Redwood community return home after a battle with Will. Riley and Jonathan return home to chaos.

In the aftermath of Marcus and Shane's attack on the Brotherhood, Nicole makes a daring escape to finally be set free; Will lashes out and vows to make the Redwood community pay.

Ryan and Connor find an injured Nicole during a scouting mission and return her to Redwood; Riley and Jonathan set up a search for Will.

Will reminisces on his past while he is out on his own; Shane and Marcus clash heads over the choice to keep Nicole in Redwood.

Will returns to the Brotherhood compound, deranged and broken, and informs Riley of a game changing discovery; Jake and Ben encounter problems within Redwood's walls.

Will, Riley, and the Brotherhood launch an attack on Redwood with a deadly new weapon.

The aftermath of the Brotherhood's attack leaves Shane and Selena in quarantine. Unknown if either will survive, the two sharing a heart wrenching last day together.

After the most recent death and the birth of his son, Shane, fueled with anger, gathers the Redwood community to prepare for a war against the Brotherhood; Riley and Jonathan help Will prepare a new line of defense.

Marcus, Ryan and Connor try to talk some sense into Shane before he goes through with an all-out war against the Brotherhood; Meanwhile, Riley helps Will emotionally, while Jonathan opens up his true feelings to Elena.

In the epic conclusion of the last 4 seasons, it's Redwood versus the Brotherhood in a fight for vengeance as all-out war unfolds.

Four years later following the death of Shane, Marcus, now the leader of Redwood, finds Shane's journal with a collection of entries, including a goodbye letter to his friends and son.

Marcus and Ryan lay the past to rest and begin teaching Shane and Selena's son, Michael, on how to survive the apocalypse.
