Shinpachi returns after vacation to find that everyone around him has changed and moved on.

Shinpachi is a loner in a strange new world, but finds an unexpected ally to help him out.

Gintoki and his friends must keep the host bar orderly as a special Madame arrives for dinner, even though it is in the midst of chaos.

Honda is now editor of manga "Ginta-man". He concentrates his efforts to discover new talented person.One day,a man called himself as No.N3016 comes to Honda to show unsolicited manuscripts of manga.

Shinsengumi accepts Tetsunosuke Sasaki as trainee. He is from the house of Sasaki clan that is a distinguished family, it's notable that his older brother Isaburou Sasaki is a leader of Mimawarigumi. But Tetsunosuke has bad behavior, so Hijikata gets irritated.

Tetsunosuke mends his ways, and takes a positive attitude toward working. Isaburou still treats Tetsunosuke like an enemy, and advises that Hijikata had better throw him out of Shinsengumi.

Tetsunosuke is taken prisoner by the radical Joi group. Isaburou thinks that his team beats them, ignoring Tetsunosuke.

Shinsengumi heads for Tetsunosuke to save. Mimawarigumi confronts them.

Taizou Hasegawa aka Madao makes appearance in the quiz show in an unexpected turn of events. How much can he win? ...Is that your final answer?

It's 5th season finale! Yorozuya apologizes to cause some upsetting situations in real world by behaving in selfish manner.
