An earthquake and a fatal bus crash are frightening omens to the residents of Port Moore, Alaska, but their journey into fear has just begun.

Billy returns to Port Moore to find his home disturbed by recent events. As he attempts to distributed his illicit goods, he finds his boat is overtaken by a presence.

Pragmatic research scientist Landis Barker self-experiments to quantify the haunting of a Lambda Technologies branch in Port Moore after a particle accelerator test goes horribly wrong and the entire building goes into lockdown.

As churchgoers flourish in numbers, Reverend Dan soothes the anxieties of the townspeople. But when the hauntings escalate to a possession of a young boy, Dan wrestles with the thought of performing an unsanctioned exorcism.

Local handyman Doug mends fences with Roman, who helps him put his daughter Maggie to rest, but her ghost has a final revelation in store.

Val appoints her brother Billy to be acting sheriff and he's soon leading a search for his niece, who vanished into the forest accompanied by Marcus.

Port Moore goes into a tailspin during another power outage where the ghosts seem to grow stronger. Roman leads a team to the dam to restore power but unearth a long buried secret that tears the team apart.

Billy's spirit becomes trapped in the nightmarish ghost realm when his physical body is in critical condition. Roman stalks Dan for info on his mother's death.

The town is given hope after a new arrival at Lambda headquarters. New supplies are distributed and an escape from the island promised. Lambda's eccentric CEO takes an interest in Roman.

Lambda's attempts to use their confiscated pod lead to disaster as they bring back a grotesque Paulo from the ghost vessel and he unleashes havoc.

Karla's ghost-child is gestating quickly. Abigail's physical condition starts to deteriorate, making Marilyn wonder if what's inside her daughter isn't normal.

Daphne gathers power to re-launch the accelerator. Doug refuses to re-open the bar causing civil unrest. Roman, Landis, Billy and the McGrath-Dufresnes are pursued by a mob.

The ghosts are building a resistance to Roman. The plan to open death's door to expel the ghosts means that some of the town's survivors will die.
