The SSDF's TAs fight against the mysterious TAs that have been supporting Belgistan, and the whole world watches as war journalist Ronald Feigen catches it on camera.

As the United Nations pushes for a response to the Belgistani saber-rattling, the Gowa Corporation seeks to demonstrate the power of Tactical Armors to the modern militaries in hopes for widescale adoption.

The 3rd Experimentation Company is getting ready to be dispatched to Belgistan; meanwhile, the Americans have already pushed forward with a full-scale assault on Belgistan with their tank battalions.

The 3rd Experimentation Company is dispatched to the Shrine Hill explosion site for investigative efforts. There, they uncover a place similar to the Stone Stage back in Japan... as well as enemy TAs.

A coup is staged within Belgistan to allow for the quiet exit of Symbol's forces. Meanwhile, Yushiro is desperate to confront Miharu again and sets off on his own to meet with her.

The 3rd Experimentation Company is returning to Japan along with Yushiro, but others are not so sure about letting them return so easily. America wants to get their hands on the TA technology.

The Gowa Corporation begins analysis of the enemy TA's artificial muscle salvaged from the skirmish in Belgistan. Meanwhile, Symbol plots to break into Gowa's research facility and recover information on Yushiro.

In the aftermath of Symbol's break-in, the Gowas scramble to try and prevent their flight from the country.

Symbol dispatches TAs to the Stage of Stone to gather intel.

When Gowa's research on the artificial muscle recovered from Belgistan goes awry, the 3rd Experimentation Company is dispatched to try and resolve the situation. But the rogue pilot they must subdue isn't operating under normal circumstances.

Yushiro and Miharu are captured by the Gowa Corporation and SSDF. While Miharu is interrogated, Yushiro is charged in trying to succeed in subduing the rogue TA pilot.

The Gowa family undergoes a change in leadership, and with the new leader, a new direction with a goal of pitting all of Japan against Symbol. Meanwhile, Yushiro decides to follow the path of the kai in hopes that it will help him remember his past.

Kazukiyo meets with Nishida to discuss plans for influencing Japan's economy.

Yushiro and Miharu arrive at the threshold of Kyoto. There, they uncover the truth of their shared history, the time when the Kugutsu made an attempt to overthrow the Emperor of Japan.

The history of the Kugutsu continues to play out as Yushiro and Miharu's spiritual ancestors move in on the capitol. When fully confronted by the horrors that the Kugai can bring, the "terror" is unleased.

Yushiro and Miharu take refuge from the Gowa family in the city's Asian district. Meanwhile, Kazukiyo, Nishida, and Hirokawa move forward with their plans.

The Gowa family puts forth a plan to search for Yushiro. Meanwhile, Japan's Prime Minister is persuaded to deploy TAs to assist in controlling an impending riot.

Nishida and Colonel Hayakawa meet to discuss the possible utilization of the 3rd Experimentation Company in Nishida's plans. Meanwhile, Symbol moves in to recapture Miharu.

The 3rd Experimentation Company elects to assist Nishida's ambitions. Their first task is to provide protection detail for the Prime Minister, but things quickly spin out of control.

Ataka and Kaburagi run into Yushiro by chance. After learning from him that Miharu's been taken by Symbol, they decide to try and assist him on rescuing her and storm an air base.

As Nishida's plans of retaliation against America continue to unfold, Yushiro confronts his brother Kazukiyo in regards to his ambitions pertaining to the kai.

The Americans, hoping to both provoke the Japanese and gather intel, send TAs to Ichigaya.

Having obtained the location of their enemy's network hub, the Americans send 4 TAs to infiltrate and destroy it. It's up to the 3rd Experimentation Company to stop them from succeeding. Nishida's face off with the President of the U.S. comes to a close.

Kazukiyo, unwilling to admit defeat, decides to use Misuzu to bring the Gasaraki.
