The kids are depressed, fearing separation as Bert won't even fight for unfaithful, yet remorseful Patsy. Ruben semi-accidentally gets them to see relationship therapist Frederickx, who finds their story too unbelievable to be true. Joost's desperate attempt to seize 'their last chance' for sex with Isa is accepted, but only as a mean 'joke', so he ands up ridiculed naked and alone.

Therapist Frederickx accepted the Vanderbroecks' dare to see for himself if they live as weirdly as both fighting partners claim, insists to observe as if he weren't there and is amazed by everyone's behavior, enough to declare the dysfunctional 'couple' hopeless, rotten from the core of either's self-centered expectations. Bert takes nor Patsy wants to believe him, Stijn offers an alternative therapeutic conclusion and the pair sleeps together in the garden shed.
