Everyone wants to see how Porkpie fairs in his new job as Lollipop Man. The day has a poor start but improves as it goes on.

Everyone is annoyed when Beverley loses some money belonging to Desmond. This leads the others to think that Beverley has conned them.

Gloria is angry with a magazine ad but her attitude lands her a job at the magazine firm. However, she can't decide what to do her ad on. Fortunately, she has help from her "fairy godmothers" Porkpie and Matthew.

Matthew is in love and wants to get married. Again.

Desmond has a cold that is driving the customers away. When he is ordered to stay in bed, Tony takes over the shop with drastic consequences.

Spider persuades Desmond that he could get more customers but it is all young teens, which doesn't please Desmond.

Michael brings home a girlfriend called Melissa but she doesn't bank on Shirley recognising her as Lee's girlfriend Mel.

Shirley organises a trip for some kids at the local church but the trip goes wrong when one kid decides to have a little fun at her expense.

Lee has a mini-accident on his motorbike. Doctors pick up a shadow on his brain and they tell him to fear the worst.

It could be wedding bells for Michael unless Beverly has her way.
