Desmond is taken to hospital with an illness and he starts to consider his mortality.

Old gossip Beverly arrives with a "funny feeling." The barbershop is then held up by two struggling teens, armed with guns.

The barbershop is still under siege by a pair of armed teens.

Sean has fallen in love with his study partner Veronica. Everyone is interested in what may happen but Veronica won't shut up about Lee.

Shirley and Gloria are away for the weekend and a struggling mother leaves her baby with Desmond, Michael, Tony, Porkpie and Matthew. This could mean trouble.

Michael is invited to a college reunion but he becomes depressed when he realises that he is the only one of his friends who has achieved their dream.

Matthew reveals he has lied to his family in the Gambia and his sister and brother-in-law are paying a visit expecting Matthew to be a successful businessman.

A local talent contest persuades Desmond and Porkpie to reform their band The Georgetown Dreamers.

Shirley is upset and goes out for the day. She meets a poor lady and they become friends. Desmond is too preoccupied with a dominoes contest to realise that Shirley has a problem.

Porkpie starts a protest against the Channel Tunnel. Gloria fails her exams and tries to hide it from Desmond. After seeing an old friend as a model, Gloria then decides that she would like to do the same but not all is as it seems.

Beverly is mugged and Shirley doesn't feel safe so she takes up self-defence lessons.

Aunty Susu pays a surprise visit from Jamaica, but the biggest surprise is what she's brought with her.

Michael shows off his new girlfriend. Meanwhile, Desmond and Shirley celebrate their 30th anniversary.
