Ome Willem wants to eat a tosti but August keeps taking away his bread to feed the birds in the snow. Then he takes home a man sized bird who claims to be Pino from Sesamstraat.

Ome Willem is looking for his newspaper but what he really needs is a pair of glasses to compensate his rapidly declining eyesight. August wants to play a game of I spy with my little eye, but comes to the conclusion that Ome Willem should see an optician. Jan Klaassen is also having problems with his eyesight.

Craving some peace and quiet, Ome Willem decides to go fishing. Not even allowed to hold the fishing rod, August decides to trick Ome Willem by dressing up as a mermaid.

Ome Willem is itching with fleas and soon infects the Geitenbreiers with them as well. At first he blames August, but eventually the origin of the little critters is tracked down to Jan Klaassen's little boy, Jantje.

After reading about a burglary nearby, August wants to join the police force and Ome Willem pretends to be a crook.

Ome Willem is not looking forward to a visit from his 'funnier' brother Kees. Therefore he gets the children in the audience on his side to rig a joke telling contest between the two of them.

The Geitenbreiers convince Ome Willem the house needs a good cleaning. Ome Willem starts by throwing out all of August's toys.

When Ome Willem and August go camping, they try to scare each other at night.
