Essex is the location for three couples to host a trio of dinner parties, including a pantomime-themed menu and an evening of north Indian cuisine, while a couple's joke at one guest's expense threaten to cost them valuable points?

In Greater Manchester, Colette and Richard kick off with their glitz and glam evening. They are joined by Thai boxer Candy and her fighter partner Michael, and teacher Kim and her boyfriend Sean.

In Yorkshire, partners Javvina and Tyrone kick off the competition with an international menu. They are joined by foodie couple Jake and Emily, and party-lovers Chantell and Lisa.

In Belfast, Sarah and Paddy kick things off with a fine-dining feast. The hosts mix Eastern and traditional fayre for guests Louise and Danny, and Emma and Samson.

In Birmingham, Talisa and her boyfriend Luke kick off the competition with a traditional Italian menu. They are joined by Kelly and Rob, and retiree Denise and her partner Peter.

In Aberdeen, Leanne and her husband Calvin kick off the competition with their take on the ultimate Ibizan fiesta. They are joined by Gail and Iain, and Becca and Grant.

In north London, married couple Elorm and Mimi are confident that their Afro-fusion menu and some Afro-beats will see them triumph. They are joined by Kiri and Dale, and Serge and Eleni.

In Nottingham, fun-loving couple Karen and Irena kick off the competition with a no-frills menu of belly-busting comfort food. They are joined by Clayton and Nina, and Lee and Maemae.

In Brighton, Dan and his partner of 16 years Pippa are hoping a menu of family favourites will bag them the grand. They are joined by Shan and Lauren, and Jared and Ian.

In Plymouth, Michelle and Sean get the week off to a stylish start with their classical evening. They are joined by charity worker Amber and marine engineer Lee, and retirees Adam and Mark.

In East Anglia, Chris and Debbie pull out all the stops with an evening of pure showbiz glitz and glamour. They are joined by Jake and Desiree, and Daisy and Will.

In Newcastle, Sharna and Silvar are first to host with a menu of family favourites. They are joined by sprightly couple Shannon and Max, and loved-up partners Charlotte and Russ.
