The coast guard finds a piece of wreckage with a decayed hand wearing a peace dove ring. The next night, by clear weather, the dispatcher receives at night an anonymous call about the sinking of the Turanga during a storm years ago. The team works on both the people who were or may have been aboard the Turanga and the presumable anonymous caller. The links is a vindictively uncooperative abandoned daughter, whom the dispatcher however charms into playing bait. This also tears open a dangerous old wound.

Captain Sander's girlfriend Saskia Berg, who just wined he doesn't make enough time for them, is tasered and kidnapped! Abductor Gerd Thiele, a former fisher who lost his adult son at sea and was condemned for drunk steering, stole and sabotaged a yacht and wants to lure a coast guard vessel to a naturally dangerous spot to sink all of them in an 'accident' to prove his innocence due to a 'witch hole'. However the coat guard finds him near not such a gas mass, but wreckage from Thiele's fatal drama.

Internal Afairs agent Claas van Oyten and his diving buddy are attacked by a man he believes to recognize as his and Thure Sander's Navy days mate Werner Tramp, missing and presumed killed in Yemen. Only Van Oyten survives, demanding incredulous Thure's team's help, yet is initially treated as prime suspect, until a yacht is kidnapped and possibly used fro a terrorist attack.
