SMOED is back to business in this brand new season of Cheerleaders. Coming off of their 2nd World Championship win, Eddie and Orby are ready to work the team harder than ever. Tryouts are starting and the competition is fierce for the 20 coveted spots. With only 4 positions available for the boys, Eddie is putting them through their paces. With Michaeleddie, Kyle and a SMOED veteran returning, will Robert make the cut? See the battle of the boys begin in the world premiere of AwesomenessTV's Cheerleaders Season 2.

The squad is chosen, but there is trouble on the horizon. It's the first practice of the season and a team member gets hurt, while a veteran athlete is contemplating leaving the team.

Eddie kicks it into high gear now that the squad is set, but it wouldn't be SMOED without some kind of surprise. A couple of out-of-state athletes are chosen to be on the team, do they have what it takes?

Last year after Worlds Gabi Butler went back home to Boca Raton, Fl to spend some much needed time with her family. Gabi said, "if I don't cheer in Cali I won't cheer at all" because she couldn't face competing against SMOED.

Travis receives the results of his injury. Will it be serious enough for him to quit? If it is where does that leave the team to find a new boy with competition season just right around the corner. Smoed is back to business to try and secure their spot competing at the World Championships. Eddie and Orby's rule is that if they don't get a full paid bid they don't go. In order to do that, they must compete for two days in San Jose where the bid is given to just two squads. Making matters worse, one of the veteran athletes is injured and shouldn't be competing. SMOED is gearing up for the dreaded Palm Springs competition. Although they managed to pull together for a win in 2013, something unexpected happens every year. Smoed is in Palm Springs for the Spirit Sports competition and there is one thing on everyone's mind: The Palm Springs Curse. Nerves are kicking in, as the team is about to compete in Day 1 of the competition. After last year's win the score is The Curse 2, SMOED 1. However, last year's routine wasn't perfect. SMOED returns from Palm Springs to some unexpected news: they are loosing two of the veterans on the team. They are devastated by the loss, but the show must go on. They are less than two weeks away from competing at the largest all-star national cheerleading championship, NCA. Will they be able to overcome their emotions and pull together as a Smamily during this difficult time? Will they be ready for NCA as they scramble to find two new members? Smoed is in Dallas for the National Championships and the nerves are kicking in. This is the biggest competition of the season and it's Peyton's first performance with the team. After a disappointing 2nd place last year, can they redeem themselves and become National Champions?

Before Smoed continues to prepare for their Worlds run, Michaeleddie takes the spotlight on a different kind of stage. Back in the gym, two of the squad's veterans get into a bit of trouble and Coach Eddie is not happy. With Worlds right around the corner, will the team focus?
