Batgirl interrupts a conflict at the masquerade ball and Barbara Gordon debates her future as a detective with her father.

Defying her father, Barbara Gordon interviews with a Detective for a spot on the force. She later sneaks into the Justice Society to further her cause.

Batgirl tries to contact the Black Canary and is rejected by the Justice Society. She then creates a costume for the masquerade ball.

Killer Moth crashes the masquerade ball and the party quickly becomes a hostage situation.

Batgirl fights Killer Moth and comes face-to-face with Batman and Robin for the first time.

Batgirl is interrogated by Batman and Robin, and Killer Moth strikes again.

Killer Moth meets Tough Tony and his gang and offers his services of protection against the new gang of Caped Crusaders. Detective Gordon summons Batman to stop Killer Moth.

Tough Tony's thugs threaten Killer Moth and Barbara Gordon prepares to make her true debut as Batgirl.

Batgirl jumps off a building to prove herself but Batman and Robin intervene. Batman brings Batgirl to the Batcave.

Batgirl wakes up in the Batcave and Robin shows her the secrets of the Batcave despite Batman and Alfred's disapproval.

Batgirl must undergo Batman's rigorous tests to prove she has what it takes to fight crime.

Killer Moth gets drunk at a bar and describes his goals for the protection program.

Killer Moth and his minions crash Tough Tony's bar and demand a cut.

Batgirl fights crime with the Black Canary. Robin gives Batgirl her first real crimefighting tool compliments of Batman.

Tough Tony and his gang instruct Killer Moth and Firefly to target a new victim: Detective Gordon.

Batgirl and the Black Canary attempt to save Detective Gordon from Fire Fly and Killer Moth in a showdown at Tough Tony's.

Batgirl tries to prove herself as a true crime fighter on the streets of Gotham again and confronts a new challenge.

Batgirl and Robin are called to a hostage situation on a Gotham train. Batgirl quickly gets in over her head when she refuses the help of Robin. Meanwhile, Detective Gordon starts to suspect Barbara may be up to something.

Batgirl confronts Killer Moth and Firefly as they set the Gotham Police Station ablaze. Batgirl must follow the villains on a wild ride above the city.

Batgirl is finally summoned by Batman and put to the final test to prove her allegiance and loyalty to fighting crime as a caped crusader.
