This is the trailer for the documentary film "Miss A: The Gift of Grace" - a story about one woman's impact on thousands of young dancers during her 65 years of teaching ballet, all from a small studio in St. Louis, Missouri.

These are some of my favorite BASIC stretches to get my body going before class, and to cool down after class.

I have to admit that, despite all of the anxiety I felt in the moment as I trekked into the unknown world of hip hop dance, it still felt great to challenge myself.

Yes, I admit there are a LOT of hurdles in this particular industry. But, if you can weather the storms, take care of yourself, smile through the tough times, and even let out a vicious scream of frustration now and then, you'll keep going.

I'll walk you through the tedious yet rewarding process of darning those darn pointe shoes.
