In Old California, scheming Captain Montecero devises a plan to catch Zorro, a masked crusader who fights injustice at night. When the adventurous Isabella discovers that Zorro is really Diego de la Vega, she demands to join him.

Zorro must stop Montecero from pillaging a stash of Mayan gold hidden behind a series of deadly traps.

When a Tolchen spirit hypnotizes Isabella and Sergeant Garcia, Zorro seeks help from his native mentor, Grey Owl.

Grey Owl's grandson transforms himself into a monster by mistake, and Zorro must capture him before a bounty hunter does.

The Enforcer, half man and half machine, threatens the entire region unless Zorro can defeat him with the help of Bernardo's inventions.

To improve his standing with the visiting Governor, Montecero employs a soldier to act as Zorro's double and draw the fox out of hiding.
