The first rangers arrive. They are immediately put to the test by the trainers Gaby and Fabian because one gate of the animal houses is not properly locked! Fortunately, Elise is able to prevent a minor disaster. Bastiaan is immediately in love with the beautiful Bionda, but she has more eye for the tough Mike. The first day starts at the animal park and one of the rangers is already accused of theft..

The eight rangers are introduced to their new home and each other. It is still a bit awkward and the atmosphere does not really want to come in yet. Taffie and Elise think Bionda is spoiled and Mike has been suspicious from the start. Elise can't sleep and walks into the owl forest at night.

Gaby's group has difficulty adjusting to her authority. Juwelries are stolen from a customer and the students are the prime suspects. Fabian talks about his injuries caused by an animal. Bastiaan puts a snake in one of his fellow student's beds.

Now Mike has disappeared due to a police chase, the group doubts his innocence. Bionda claims that she has a wealthy fiancée living in South-Africa.

Taffie saves Bionda from the snake that was put in her bed. Fabian introduces an unusual assignment. Sira finds out who really stole jewelries, though Roy thinks that she is lying when she tells him her story.

Elise finds Mike's hiding place and decides to help him. Bastiaan unsuccessfully tries to make up with Bionda.

Now Sira has caught Mike as well, she becomes determined to prove his innocence by revealing the guard's theft. Suspecting everyone for being Mike, Roy starts annoying the guests. Gaby is fed up with Bionda's spoiled behavior.

Bionda reports being violated, though Gaby finds out that her attacker was a sea lion. The guard acts violently towards Sira. Alwin finds out about Mike's hiding place.

Gaby motivates Bionda to study, though it has consequences for the other rangers. The group begins their dangerous mission to reveal the guard's criminal activities.

Gaby almost catches the rangers' mission, though a romantic dinner with Fabian distracts her. Meanwhile, the guard is attacked by a lion while digging for money, but an unexpected person rescues him.

With Mike back in the group, Elise feels confused. Taffie gives Bastiaan some advice to win Bionda's heart, though she is more occupied with becoming a show star.

Despite her attempts to flirt with Mike, Bionda notices that she is being shunned out by the other rangers. Mike starts to connect with Elise.

Bionda tells Mike that he means a lot to her. Taffie apologizes to Bastiaan for always talking down to him. Bastiaan starts a fight with Alwin. Elise and Mike plan to write a book.

Mike asked Elise to write a book with him. When Elise proposes to do this at his house, he suddenly behaves very mysteriously. Bionda tries to make Mike jealous with a photo of her fiancé "Egbert-Jan". When the photo falls in the middle of the camel enclosure, Bastian in love takes a dangerous action.

Roy is angry with Elise and questions her about the stolen shelves. When he threatens to expel her from the park, Taffie comes to save her just in time. Alwin proposes Bastiaan to play his love song to Bionda. When he finally has the guts to sing for her, his serenade is brutally disturbed. Maybe his animal mega mix has a chance of success?

Roy doesn't make it easy for the rangers. When Bastiaan tries to get the sound of the pot-bellied pig, Roy ruins the mega animal mix. Then he follows Elise to the owl shelter and takes away wood for her tree house. Elise flees home but accidentally crawls into the wrong bed. When Bionda sees that Elise is covered in twigs and leaves, she draws a very shocking conclusion. Is Elise a witch?
