Host Nina Davuluri selects six young, south Asian women to compete in a ten-week, pageant style showdown. Each week Nina presents the girls with three new challenges on the road to the grand finale.

Host Nina Davuluri teaches them the art of walking the runway. Then the girls go to a community garden, learn about confidence and service to others. Later, a professional drummer helps find their own personal rhythm.

Host Nina Davuluri challenges the girls to define their own individual style on a surprise shopping excursion. Nina needs an outfit for a gala event and each girl has to assemble three signature looks for herself, for under fifty dollars.

The girls go to a house for team building. They have to trust each other. A professional life coach helps find their authentic self; a yoga master stretches their skills.

Fashion photographer visits the studio to the competitors the art of posing. Next, a series of improv games test, then the contestants go to an actual movie set; with a director they perform a scripted scene on camera.

In Swimsuit Week the girls prepare for their most revealing challenge. Special guest instructs the girls to strut their stuff. The final challenge brings some stunning surprises. Later, the girls go for a celebratory sunset cruise.

After an argument breaks at boating trip, host decides to give the girls some perspective. Later they help design a new ad campaign for the educational charity Pratham USA.

A series of challenges around wellness and nutrition; a dermatologist teaches about skin care; a nutritionist presents brain teasers for physical fitness. They learn about unhealthy ingredients and finally, a nutritional scavenger hunt.

A week left before the season finale. The girls show their individual talents for some brutally honest advice. Nina gives them a lesson on walking and they have fun together and blow of some steam before the Grand Finale.

Time for the Season Finale of Made in America. Girls compete before a panel of celebrity judges. Each girl will showcase her abilities in the Q&A and Talent round. Only one of them will be crowned the winner of Made in America.
