Cissie places two advertisements, one to sell her old bridesmaid's dress, the other to look for someone to share her unusual hobby with, lucky she had a box number.

Cissie's Uncle has passed away and left her a small fortune, but Flora has her eyes on her legacy.

Dolly is ecstatic after a letter turns up with a role in a commercial for her, but as she's too glamorous it's left open for someone else.

Flora's gone to Peabody's department store to buy a new elephant, but soon realizes she's not paid for it. Operate White Elephant is put into action in a bid to return it.

Flora is disturbed late at night by a baby's crying, and when she discovers the child left on the doorstep it falls on the ladies of Paradise Lodge to care for him, or her.

Miss Milton is incapacitated after an accident with a ladder, so Paradise Lodge is placed in the hands of a disciplinarian Secondary School teacher.

The Spring Fayre approaches, and the Vicar's wife has thrown down the gauntlet by smirking at Flora, and banning her from running the bran tub, but will Flora get her own back?

Flora tries desperately to conceal her suffering, but a grumbling appendix forces her into hospital, where all must suffer.
