Nate wakes up to find himself dressed as a Monkey King. He is starring in the movie Journey to the West with Whisper, Jibanyan, and Komasan. It is the work of the famous Yo-kai filmmaker Director. Kyubi also appears to be playing a leading role. Director's requests are all crazy and unlike the original story. Nate and the others will not be able to return home until they finish shooting the film.

The professor's logic is full of holes, but he always manages to solve the case. Meanwhile, Jibanyan feels a strange stare coming from the forest. The group reaches the inn for the night and flowers start blooming everywhere! Surely Professor Vacant can solve this mystery.
