Ryousuke, a young man who has had a childhood fear of thunder recalls how his mother once told him when he was five, that she will protect him from thunder. Five months later, she moved out, so now he lives with his father. Suddenly, he experiences a blackout in his apartment.

A group of high school students are taking part of a tour in the Tomonashi Cave. The tour guide says that it's believed that the wind blowing in the cave can sound like a young girl's cry.

A salary man, Hide, has just returned home to his apartment when he feels the wind blow. He enters his room and finds the balcony door wide open.

A couple who has just recently married moves to a village in the countryside where the husband once lived as a child.

One rainy day, a woman is driving to pick up her daughter, Michiko from daycare.

A pair of young twin brothers, Satoshi and Takashi are in the forest, exploring. They argue over whether they should go home or not.

A hiker gets caught in a severe blizzard while climbing a mountain trail so he takes shelter in a shack only to realize he's not alone.

A group of four friends (two boys, two girls) takes a trip through the forest only to find themselves lost.

A pair of college girls have climbed to the top of the mountain. Out of boredom, one of them, Eriko shouts loud to hear her own echoes.
